      To wife Margarett, lands in the county on Potomac River, which bought of Robert Brightwell, and the other pt. I purchased of Vulkamore; should wife re-marry, lands to be divided between sons John and Benjamin Pack, and the use and benefit.
      Three daus.: Mary, Elizabeth and Susannah.
      To eld. son Samuel Pack, the 7th pt. of a certain tract of land laying in Virginia in Frederick Co., to which I purchased of Andrew Paul, it lays on Sleepy Creek. Desire these tracts, which hath 735 A. of land, be equally divided between my 4 eld. sons: Samuel, George, Thomas and Joseph Pack, If all living.
      The other 6 pts. I give to my sons herein named: George, Thomas, Joseph, Tod, Bartomeus and Simon Pack. Give the 6 pts. of afsd, after Samuel Pack hath chosen his pt., to those 6 sons together mentioned.

      576-578. William Thompson recorded 20 Oct. 1754, made 10 April 1754 between Daniel Ashcraft of FC, farmer, for 105 pounds 8 shillings, sells 65 acres, part of a tract called "Sky Thorn" beginning at the mouth of a Run near the Potomack River Bank, being a boundary of Varner Fore's land, then with the said run to the main road, which was a division line between Robert Brightwell, formerly Varnal Fore's dividing a resurvey, then between the said Daniel Ashcraft and the widow Pack, then with the river. Signed Daniel Ashcraft before Tim. Stoughton, Thomas Mains. Receipt ack. before Thos Cresap and Thos Prather. Memorandum on the 10 June 1754, Daniel Ashcraft came before Thos Cresap and Thos Prather and acknowledged deed, and Elizabeth his wife at the same time examined apart released dower. Alienation fine recorded as a marginal note by John Darnall.
