      13 November, 1671; 23 May, 1672.
      BILLINGTON, LUKE, of ffarnham parish in Rappa County.
      Of sound and perfect memory.
      To my beloved wife Barbary Billington the house wherein I now dwell with all moveables and immoveables and Lands belonging thereunto belonging to the sd Plantation with all the Cattle belonging to me as mares and horses sheepes and all the grain and come and wheat servants and all my household goods within doors and without during the term of hir natural life and after her decease to fall to my son Luke Billington and his heirs forever and I doe oblige my sd wife to provide and give unto my sd daughter Elizabeth at hir day of marriage either a man servant or a maid servant of times as servants come into this country to serve.
      I give unto my son Luke Billington the mountain field wherein now Richard Peacock liveth to him and his heirs for ever and in case he dieth without issue then the sd land to be divided between his fower sisters here nominated being Elitia and Elizabeth and Jane and Barbary my daughters and in case that any or either of my sd daughters shall die without issue that the sd land belong to their survivor or survivors.
      I doe oblige my sonne Luke to give and deliver at the day of marriage of my daughters Jane and Barbary to each of them a man servant or a maid servant for the full time or terme of years as servants serve their lawful apprenticeship in this Country.
      I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elitia three hundred and fifty acres of land belonging to the mountain fields as by pattent purchased appeareth and if my said daughter dieth without issue that then the sd land fall and be divided between my three daughters Elizabeth Jane and Barbary and in case any of them die without issue to fall to the survivor or survivors.
      I give unto my daughter Mary apeece of plate to the value of thirty shillings and to her sonne my grandchild William Daniell a yew with a yew lamb by her side.
      I do further appoint and oblige my wife to pay and satisfy all or any just debts weh shall be made appeare that I owe either by obligation or accounts.
      I make my wife Barbary my whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testamt. And further I desire my trusty and well beloved friends Mr William Travers and Mr Gyles Cale to be trustees of this my last will and Testamt. that to their power as much as in them lyeth it be performed. Further Dr. John Russell to be a trustee to this my last will with Mr William Travers and Mr Gyles Cale.

      BE IT KNOWN unto all men that I JOHN WILLIAMS of FARNHAM CREEK in RAPPA. RIVER Carpenter with the Consent of MARY WILLIAMS my Wife and we both with one consent in consideration of full satisfacion to us made & delivered to our contents have sold & turned over from us our heirs & assignes in the favour of RICHARD PEACOCK & HUGH DANIELL of the same place (missing) Exrs. & assignes heretably & Irredeemably forever one parcell of land (missing) FARNHAM CREEK begining at the first Corner tree of my land (missing) & so runing along the side of the sd Branch unto (missing) that Devideth the branch unto the (missing) acres of land & taken forth thereof (missing) hereafter may appertaine or belong to the sd (missing) or about the sd parcell of land (missing) any other claime which we have or may hereafter pretend (missing) admrs. & assignes To have and hold (missing) thereunto belonging by the power (missing) therein menconed &we do bind us our heirs (missing) their heirs Admrs. & assignes (missing) upon demand & to rattify (missing) and in open Court when we shall (missing) admrs to warrant the sd parcell of land (missing) RICHARD PEACOCK & HUGH DANIELL & to (missing) my Pattent from my fact & Deed (missing) other right or conveyance of (missing) persons & lastly I the sd MARY WILLIAMS do acknowledge that I have freely & willingly of my own accord consented to this present sale of the prcell of land & that I was not anywayes forced or moved thereto by my aforesaid Husband In Witness of the same we have set our hands & seals this 28th day of April 1660

Planter for good causes give unto WILLIAM DANIELL Son of HUGH DANIELL of the same County one Cow Calfe marked as followeth on the right ear a crop & peice taken out (missing) the top of the ear coulered black with a little white under her belly &a white Tipp on the Taile the sd WILLIAM DANIELL to have & hold the sd Cow Calfe with her Increase male & female for ever without the molestation trouble or denyall of me the sd JOHN SUGGIT my heirs or any persons whatsoever & moreover if the said WILLIAM DANIELL should die before he comes to age that then the Cow Calfe with her increase shall fall into the hands of the next of kin belonging to the sd WILLIAM DANIELL & furthermore that the sd HUGH DANIELL Father of the sd WILLIAM DANIELL shall peacfully keep all & every the premises untill his sd Son cometh of full age then to be possessed withall & every part thereof for the true performance I the sd JOHN SUGGET have set my hand & seal this five and twentieth day of October 1664

      BEE IT KNOWNE unto all men by these presents that I ROBERT BAYLY [Bayliss] SENIOR of the County of Rappa. and Pish of Farnham doe for divers good cause and consideracons me thereunto moveing give bargain and make over unto WM. DANIELL Sonne of HUGH DANIELL of the abovesaid County and Parish aforesaid the moiety or one halfe part of Divident or Tract of land part of wch said land was purchased by me the said BAYLIE of one RICHARD PEACOCK the other part by Right of Survivor the said Land not being devided now belonging to me the said ROBERT BAYLY the said halfe part by these presents given and granted being part thereon laid out mrked devided by JAMES TUNE and ROBERT BEDWELL and according wch line of marked trees and so runing down & over the main branch to the bottom of a Fork belonging to this land. To Have and to hold the said land by these prsents given to him the said WILLIAM DANIELL Sone of the said HUGH DANIELL deceased and to the heirs of his body lawfully begotten forever and to MARY HINDS Mother of the said WILLIAM DANIELL to have the use thereof during her natural life not any wise hindring the said WILLIAM DANIELL from seating thereof and if the said WILLIAM DANIELL shall happen to die without any such heirs of his body lawfully begotten as abovesaid that then after the death of the said MARY HINDS Mother of the said WILLIAM DANIELL the land by these prsents given and granted to Return to the said ROBERT BAYLEY and his heirs forever as before the grant heer of and the said ROBERT BAYLY doe by these prsents oblige myselfe my heirs that the said WILLIAM DANIELL his heirs as abovesaid together wth his said Mother have hold use occupy and enjoy the prmises In confirmacon hereof I have set. my hand and scale this 4th of November 1671 signum

      and Pish of Farnham doe constitute and appoint my Friend THOMAS FRESHWATER my true and lawfull Attorney to acknowledge a Deed of Writing concerneing land by me made over to one WILLIAM DANIELL of the same County and Parish at the County Court abovesaid next held the said Deed of Writing bearing date wth these prsents and what my said Attorney shall doe in the premises I doe hereby Rattify and confirme to be as authentick as if I my selfe hereby then and there prsent to act and doe the same as
