      KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I SYMON MILLER of the County of Rappa
      Boatwright for and in consideration of Foure thousand pounds of Good Tobacco & caske to me by Bill secured by ROBERT PAYNE & THOMAS WRIGHT of the same place have bargained sould & confirmed unto the said ROBERT PAYNE & THO. WRIGHT their heires two hundred acres of land scituate lying & being in the Freshes of RAPPA. being part of one thousand acres of land formerly taken up by PROSSER & THOMAS CHETWOODE in a greater Quantity and by the sd PROSSER sould & conveyed unto me the sd MILLER my heirses & assignes according to the Purport of a Deed bearing date the thirtieth day of Apprill 1669 & recorded in the records of the abovesaid County as Relation being thereunto had more at large may & doth appeare Begining at a marked wt, Oakc and soe taking its Bredth on the Maine River side for two hundred acres and soe running into the woods to make up the said Quantity being the Lowermost part of the sd one thousand acres of land To Have and To Hold the said two hundred acres of land together with all its rights and priviledges whatsoever to the same Belonging or in any wise apperteyning from me the sd SYMON MILLER my heirs to the said ROBERT PAYNE & THOMAS WRIGHT their heires for ever to the onely sole & proper use & behoole of them the sd PAYNE & WRIGHT their heirs & assignes for evermore the said ROBT, PAYNE & THO: WRIGHT their heires yeilding paying from hence forward the rights rents & services hereof to be due & of right accustomed and furthermore the sd SYMON MILLER for himselfe his heires and either and every of them the sd RO: PAYNE THO WRIGHT their heires by these prsents that the sd SYMON MILLER at the time of the sealing hereof hath full power and lawful authority to give and graunt the before bargained prmises with the apptences to the said PAYNE & WRIGHT their heirs and assignes in manner & form aforesaid In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand &Seale this Eighteenth day of June Ano Dom 1670

      THESE PSENTS WITNESSETH that I LAWRENCE HOOKER of the County of Rappa. Planter for a valluable consideration to me in hand paid & delivered by ROBERT PAYNE of the same County the receipt whereof I doe hereby acknowledge my self to be contented and satisfied have bargained sold & confirmed unto the sd ROBT. PAYNE his heires for ever five hundred and eighty acres of land lying and being on the South side of the Rappa. River adjoining upon CORNELIUS NOWELLs land (another very faded entry but appeares to appoint his friend GEORGE JONES his Attorney to make acknowledgment of the same) (deed dated 2d April 1670) .

PAYNE by Pattent beareing date 27 7br 1667 and by them deserted & the said land being due unto the sd HENRY RANDOLPH by & for the transporacon of foure and twenty psons into this Collony whose names are on record mentioned underneath this Pattent the said land being graunted unto the sd HENRY RANDOLPH by an Ordr. of the Genrll, Court beareing date ye 11th of Octobr. 1670 To Have and To Hould &c, to be held &c, yeelding and paying &c, Provided &c dated 13th of Octobr 1670
