      NOW ALL MEN by these p:sents that I SARA SHIPP, Relict of WILLIAM SHIPP, of ye County of LOWER NORFOLK, Admrx. unto my sd Husband deced, do nominate constitute & appoint my well beloved Son in Law, BRYAN stott, living in the River of Rappahannock my true & lawful Attorney for me & in my name & to my only use to ask receive sue & implead all such debts as are due unto me, Ear, of my sd Husband out of ye sd River & haveing arrested & impleaded to compound release out of prison all such p:sons and what else my sd Attorney shall doe or think fit to be done in any of ye p:mises I do by these p:sents ratify & confirme & do hereby declare ye same to be full & as amply done as if I my selfe were or could be p:sonally p:sent In Witnes hereof I have hereunto set my hand this 21st of Nov: 1658
