      THIS INDENTURE made the XXth day of January in the year of our Lord MDCCXXX Between CHRISTOPHER BEVERLEY of KING & QUEEN COUNTY Gent of one part and PETER DUDLEY of RICHMOND COUNTY Planter of the other part Witnesseth thatsd CHRISTOPHER BEVERLEY for the sum of Ten pounds fifteen shillings Current money to him paid or secured to be paid doth demise sett & to farm lett unto the sd PETER DUDLEY the house & Tenement where JAMES BYROM late lived together with eighty acres of land thereto adjoyning in the Parish of South farnham & County of Essex To Have and To Hold unto the sd PETER DUDLEY his Exrs. & assigns for the full time & term of twenty & one years from day of these presents paying therefore yearly on the feast day of St, Michael the Archangel the royal Quitrent of the sd land & one ear of Indian Corn and the sd PETER DUDLEY shall not comic waste and if sd rent be unpaid by space of thirty days in any year that then sd CHRISTOPHER BEVERLEY to reenter & the same to have again and the sd CHRISTOPHER BEVERLEY for himself doth warrant the sd land to the sd PETER DUDLEY. In Witness whereof the parties have sett their hands and Seals
