      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we TIMOTHY DRISCOLL, KATH: DRISCOLL, RICHD. COVINGTON & HENRY WOODNUTT of the County of Essex are held and firmly bound unto his Matics. Justices of ye peace for ye sd. County in ye just sumo of Twenty thousand pounds of tobacco & caske to the which payment we bind ourselves our heirs firmly by these presents; Witness our hands and seales this 10th day of Janry: 1698.
      The Condicon of this obligacon is such that if TIMOTHY DRISCOLL & KATH: his Wife, Admrs. of BENJA: MARSH deced, do make a true & perfect inventory of all ye goods chattles rights & credits of ye sd. deced., & ye same so made do exhibit to ye next Court held for ye sd. County & make oath thereto, & truely admr. on ye sd. Estate according to Law & pay unto such persons as ye Court shall appoint, then the above obligacon to be void, otherwise to stand and remain in full force

      Inventory of ye Estate of BENJAMIN MARSH deceased appraised in Obedience to an Order of his Majties. Justices of ye Peace for Essex County dated the 10th day of January 1698:
      Imprs, 4 Cowes & 1 steare at 300 tobo: pr:, 2 heifers & 1 bull evA:h 3 years old, 2 heifers each 2 yeares old, 3 yearlings, 1 gray horse, 1 par: of old Cart wheeles; a parcell of Joy-ners tooles; 1 spining wheele, I chest drawers, 1 small trunk, 1 looking glass, 1 old bed and furniture, 1 sheet, 2 cheares, 1 couch, table, 5 treys, 3 piggies and 1 podring tubb all old, 3 iron potts, 1 Bunn, 1 skillet, 1 pestle, par: tongs, flesh fork, ladle, skillett, frying pan, 1 roller all old, 1 Chaff bed old, a parcel of pewter qt. 30 lbs., 1 warming pan, some earthen ware & 1 case knives; 1 Servt, boy five years & halfe to serve; Total sum Six thousand two hundred & eighty pounds of tobacco under our hands this 6th February 1698

      THIS INDENTURE made the first of February 1691/2 Between JOSEPH GOARE of Middx. County Plantr: & MARY his Wife one of the Daughters and Coheires of DAVID ALISON late of Middlesex County of the one parte & Capt. WILLIAM DANIELL of the said County Gent. of the other parte Wittnesseth that whereas David Allison dyed possessed of three several tracts one tract being in RAPPAHANNOCY. County and by estemation conteines Three hundred and sixty acres of land and said David Allison dying Intestate and leaveing four Daughters Coheires (Vizt) ANN now wife of EDWARD CLERKE, CATHERINE now Wife of BENJAMIN MARSH, MARY now wife of JOSEPH GOARE and ELIZABETH now wife to HENRY GOARE, who did make a certain verball agreement and made choyce of these several! fourth parts of all the lands the said Allison dyed soe possessed; that is to say. Edward Clerke and Joseph Goare did in right of their wives Ann and Mary make choyce of all the lands in Rappahannock County for there fourth parts and the said Joseph Goare and Mary his Wife being so seased in ffee taile in one full fourth part of all the lands doth for and in consideration of the sume of thirty seaven pounds tens shillings Sterling money hath granted unto the said William Daniell one full fourth part of all the before recited premises
      In presence of WALTR: WHITAKER, Joseph Goare
      THO. STAPLETON, PAUL THILMAN Mary Goare
      Md. Att a Court held for Middx, County the 1 day of Ffebey 1691
      Then personally appeared the above named Joseph Goare and acknowledged the above deed to be his act & deed also came Mary Goare in her own person and being privately examined does publickly acknowledge the same to be her act & deed.

      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I Joseph Goare doe owe and stand firmeley bound unto Capt. William Daniell in the penall sume of Twenty pounds of good lawful money of England this first day of February 1691.
      The Condition of this obligation is such that if the above bound Joseph Goare doth well and truely observe the covenants whatsoever ought to be observed in an Indenture that then this obligation to be voyd or else to stand
