      Cralle, John, of St. Stephens Parish
      W. W. 27 April 1757---W. P. March 1758
      To Thomas Cralle Lamkin, son of Mary Jones, widow and relict of Charles Jones late of Northumberland county-five negroes vizt: Little Ben, Isaac, Peggs Bess, Blacka Top and Aggy. If he should die before he arrives to age or day of marriage, his mother Mary Jones to enjoy two of the said slaves that may be left at his death, she to have her choice during her natural life, then to revert to my children the remaining part-the said Thomas Cralle Lamkin to have two cows and calves, four ewes, one dozen shallow plates, half dozen deep plates, one bed and furniture, the best that may be in the house at my decease, with one lot of silver shoe and knee buckles.
      To Mary Jones-two thousand pounds of tobacco and one suit of mourning such as she may make choice of, twelve barrells of corn, eight head hoggs, and what meat she may incline to take that may be in the house at my death.
      To son William Matthews Cralle-nine negroes vizt: Chance, Cate, and their daughter Bess, Frank, Alice, Stephen, Cate, Dominy, and Edmond.
      Mullatto man Will, may be free at my decease.
      To son Rodham Kenner Cralle-three negroes vizt: Harry, George, and Nanny, and my watch.
      Desk and clock to remain to the feehold.
      To daughter Mary Foushee-my silver Tankard, and negro wench Rose Anna.
      Rest of estate both real and personal to be equally divided between five children Kenner, John, Rodham, William, and Mary, except Ben and Matthews whom I give to my son Kenner, son John to have, Rachel Old Ben to make choice of his master among my children.
      My horse Sparrow and saddle to be excepted out of my will.
      Mary Jones executrix of what estate I have given in this will to Thomas Cralle Lamkin,
      Five children Kenner, John, Rodham, William, and Mary, executors of the other parts of my will.
      Witness: Newton Keene and John Williams.

      Cralle, Thomas of St. Stephens Parish, gent. W. W. 17 October 1726 W. P. 17 November 1726
      Wife Hannah Cralle negro man Charles and negro woman Pegg to her and her heirs, and she to
      have the plantation whereon I now live during her natural life, and she to have the (faded) liquors I now possess, and she is to have all the goods her mother left her
      Rest of my estate to be equally divided between my wife Hannah Cralle, and my two sons John and Thomas Cralle,
      My wife and brother John Cralle to be my executors.

      My desire is not to have any funeral sermon, and that there he no superfluity of drink disposed of at my funeral.
      Son John Cralle-sixty acres of land in "Cherry Point" which bought; of Clement Abridge Junr., and all my land in Richmond County.
      Son Thomas Cralle-land I bought of Captain Thomas Jones in Northumberland County except what I have sold from it, also all the land being part in Westmoreland County and part in Northumberland County, and all the land I bought of Joseph Deeks, and all the land lying on the south side of Potomach River in Stafford County.
      Two grandsons John and Thomas Cralle, the sons of Thomas and. Hannah Cralle-each one hundred pounds sterling to be disposed of for their use in land or negroes.
      Rest of my estate real and personal to be divided equally between my sons John Cralle and Thomas Cralle
      David Straughan if alive to inventory my estate.
      Executors to give no security, and my two sons to be executors. My executors to pay David Straughan five guinies.
      Witness: David Straughan.
      Mr. David Straughan made oath that Capt. John Cralle signed the will.
