      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I WILLIAM HARPER of ye County of Essex for divers good causes and consideracons me thereunto moving and more especially for ye Love & affection that I bear unto JOHN BOLWARE, my Kinsman, Son of WILLIAM BOLWARE deced, have and by these presents do give and grnt unto ye sd JOHN BOLWARE his heirs & assignes for ever Fifty acres of land being part of ye Divident of land that I now possess & live on, lyeing and being on OCCUPACON CREEKE in ye sd County of Essex, the sd Fifty acres of land beginning at a marked Pokikery corner tree of ye land of Mr. ROWZEY by a Marsh side and running thence North by and nigh ye Marsh to a marked red Oake, thence South West South, thence North East along Mr. ROWZEEs line to ye first menconed stacon, To have hold & to enjoy to him the sd JOHN BOLWARE his heirs & assignes forever, the sd Fifty acres of land with all the rights & appurtenances thereunto belonging quietly & peaceably to possess from me ye sd WILLIAM HARPER & my heirs from ye just claime of all & any persons that may lay claime thereunto or to any part thereof under me ye sd WILLIAM HARPER & my heirs & this abovesd. 30 acres of land I ye sd WILLIAM HARPER doe give unto ye sd JOHN BOLWARE freely advisedly & with hearty good will, And have on ye day of ye date hereof put him ye aforesd.       BE IT KNOWN unto all men by these presents that we LODOWICK ROWZEE, JOHN ROWZEE and EDWARD ROWZEE all of ye Parish of SITTINGBORN in ye County of RAPPA: for and in consideration of ye sume of Five thousand pounds of tobacco to us in hand paid have sold unto THOMAS CRIPPS his heirs and assignes forever all and wholey a certaine parcell of Land containing Thirty acres be it more or less being in the sd. County of RAPPAHANOCK on the South side of the Rappahanock River, and on a small branch or gutt that falleth into OCCUPACEY CREEKE, and Begineth at a small red Oake on a point by a Great Marsh, it being the corner tree of ye Land of WILLIAM HARPER and runeth from the sd. Corner tree North West along the line of WILLIAM HARPER to a marked red Oake by a deep branch side, from thence over ye sd Deep Branch still keeping the same course along the same line to a marked Pocickory that standeth on the furthest side of a Deep Branch that falleth into ye abovesd, small gutt, or Branch of OCCUPACEY CREEKE, and then runing from ye sd Pocickory down the Branch into the abovesd. small gutt or branch of OCCUPACEY, finally downe the sd. gutt or branch includeing all the land between the sd. Branch and the aforemenconed line of WILLIAM HARPERs Land; To have & to hold the sd. Land to him the sd. THOMAS CRIPPS and his heirs & assignes forever withall the rights members & appurtenances thereunto belonging; from all & every of us our heirs and any persons that shall lay clayme theretunto, And we have this day for our selves and heirs put him the sd THOMAS CRIPPS in free full & actuall possession of ye sd. parcell of Land by Livery & Seisin to ye free full and absolute behoofe & commodity of him ye sd THOMAS CRIPPS & his heirs & assignes forever; Witness our hands and seales this 26th day of July 1689

      THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bound SARAH ARMESTEAD & WM. HARPER, two of the Exrs. of the Last Will and Testament of FRANCIS ARMESTEAD deced do make a true and perfect Inventory of all the goods chattles & creditts of the sd: deced: and the same soe made doe exhibitt into the County Court of Richmond at such times as they shall be thereto required by sd: Court; And ye same goods chattles & creditts doe well & truly administer according to Law, And further doe make a just & true Accot: of their actings & doings therein when thereto required by sd: Court and also doe well and truly pay and deliver all ye Legacies specified in sd: Testamt. as far as ye sd: goods chattles and creditts will thereunto extend according to the value thereof and the Law shall charge them, Then this obligation to be void and of none effect otherwise to remain in full force & vertue
