      March 30, 1772. Mary Jarvis, formerly Mary Brown, relict of Wm. Brown, Decd., now of Spts. Co., to James Brown, of Fredksbg. Whereas, sd. Wm. Brown, died leaving several children whereof one is called James, and sd. Mary being desirous to do what she can for the benefit of sd. James, apprentices him to James Brown, the other party to these presents, etc. Term, 13 yrs. Jas. Jarvis, who intermarried with sd. Mary Brown, gives his assent, etc. Witnesses, Chas. Sebastin, Zachariah Lucas. July 17, 1772.
