      THIS INDENTURE made the twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & fifty Between LEONARD HORNSBY of the County of FREDERICK in the Colony of Virginia of one part & JOSEPH WALSH of the County of Prince William of the other part Witnesseth that the said LEONARD HORNSBY for the sum of Thirty Six Pistoles hath granted unto the sd JOSEPH WALSH in his actual possession now being by vertue of a bargain and sale for one year and by force of the statute for transferring uses into possession and to his heirs forever all that parcel of land containing One hundred & Fifty seven acres in the County of Prince William and bounded Beginning at (A)a white Oak by a Branch of CEDAR RUN in the line of THOMAS BARBER and runing thence N. E. to a red Oak a white Oak and Spanish Oak by a Glade thence N. W. to two Spanish Oaks thence N. W. to a red Oak thence N. W. to two white Oaks by the branch side thence down the branch binding on HUDNALLs land to the beginning And all houses and appurtenances whatsoever belonging To Have and To Hold to the said JOSEPH WALSH his heirs & assigns forever. In Witness whereof the said LEONARD HORNSBY hath set his hand & Seal

      At a Court held for the County of Prince William the 24th day of July 1750 LEONARD HORNSBY acknowledged this deed which is admitted to record, ELIZABETH Wife of the said LEONARD being first privately examined relinquished her right of Dower in the land conveyed
