      William Hancock, Will, June 8, 1806; January 13, 1807
      I, William Hancock of CC, being in a low state of body but of sound memory and disposing judgment;
      To wife Ann, all the lands which I own by the name of "St. Stephens Colemans" and "Bettys Delight", during her single life. Also all my personal property except what may be hereafter mentioned, and after the single life of my wife, to my three sons, William Smith {Hancock}, James {Hancock} and Gustavus John {Hancock}, one feather bed and furniture with 100 acres of land called "St. Stephens Colemans" where I now live on the proviso that my three daughters, Jane {Hancock}, Margaret {Hancock} and Cecelia {Hancock}, have a room in my house during their single live with about 10 acres of land between my house and the main road.
      To son Thomas {Hancock} 50 acres of land "Bettys Delight", after the single life of my wife Ann.
      To son William Smith {Hancock}, negro Matilda, and should he die before 21yrs, then to son George Benedict {Hancock}.
      To son George Benedict {Hancock}, negroes, Stephen and Lewesa.
      To three daughters, Jane {Hancock}, Margaret {Hancock} and Cecelia {Hancock}, negroes Bridget and Charity, 2 feather beds and furniture.
      To daughter Ann Dent, negro Harriot.
      To daughter Mary Power, negro Henney.
      To daughter Catharine Mason, negro Aminta.
      To son Walter {Hancock}, negro Nan, 1 bed and furniture.
      To two sons James {Hancock} and Gustavus John {Hancock}, negro John.
