      deceased, tor £450 sells parcel or tract called Suggar Bottom, in FC, M&B given from 4th line of
      Sugar Bottom, tor 300 acres. Signed Nin Edmonston before Andrew Heugh, Kinsey Gittings.

      V:398-401. Robert Peter, merchant, recorded deed 7 May 1774, from William Douglas, late of Loudoun County, Virginia, merchant, for £500 sterling, tract called Good Luck, adjacent to tract taken up by John Bradford, lying near the mouth of Seneca, containing 50 acres more or less; and tract called Sugar Bottom, conveyed to William Douglas by Ninian Edmonston, on or about 2 July 1766, containing 300 acres on the Potomac River. Receipt. Acknowledgment. Elizabeth, wife of William Douglas released dower. Wm M Beall received alienation fine.
