Indenture made March 23, 1763; Thomas Webb, planter in consideration of 96 pounds current money of the province paid by Robert Walters of White Haven, merchant have sold 2 tracts, "Prather's Grove" and "Mendum" containing by patent 150 acres; provided nevertheless that if Thomas Webb shall truly pay and satisfy unto Robert Walters the aforesaid sum of money with legal interest on or before March 23, 1766 then this deed shall being all and void. Signed Thomas Webb in the presence of and acknowledged before Nathaniel Magruder, Robert Tyler In the same time Elizabeth Webb wife of Thomas Webb relinquished her right of dower
