Recheck reference for John Whitehead: INVENTORIES Liber 39, Folio 185. Entry is for Samuel Whitehead and not John Whitehead. Next of kin is John Shweres, a surname of German origin, rarely found in Maryland records, with variant spellings of Shwer, Schwere, Schwiere, etc. Is it possible that John Shweres is a son-in-law, and there is at least one daughter born to Charles Whitehead?
