DAVIS, LEVI. Levi Davis was born in March, 1752, in Prince
George's County, Maryland and lived there until he was 11 when
his father moved to Prince William County, Virginia. He lived
there for 16 years and served in the Revolutionary War during
that time. He then moved to Bedford County, Virginia and then in
1792 moved to Rockingham County, North Carolina for 1 year before
moving to Stokes County, North Carolina. In 1809 he moved to Knox
County, Tennessee for 13 years and then moved to Overton County,
Tennessee and back to Knox County in 1834. He applied for a
pension (S21156) on August 14, 1834, aged 82 (Ref: VDW-904).
