      Subject: RE: Hebden

I believe that Thomas Hebden who married Catherine Payne was b.1614 son of Christopher Hebden.
Christopher had two dau. named Elizabeth one b. 1585 and 1598 one of which died 1603.
Christopher d.1636 names dau. Elizabeth and cousin William & Thomas Marshall and their sister Helen Dambrooke.
This implies to me that Christopher had a sister that married a Marshall. I suspect that Christopher had a sister Elizabeth that married William Marshall that were the parents of William & Thomas Marshall and their sister Helen. I suspect that the numbering system in the following is a 1580 year date:(1580.0000 Thomas Hebden pltf v William Marshall & Elizabeth his wife concerning land in Little Habton Yorks Feet of Fines.)so this William was already married in 1580. I suspect the Thomas Hebden here is the brother of Christopher who also had a dau. Elizabeth who could have been the Elizabeth that married Matthew Marshall 1619.
