Benedict Boarman, Will, May 25, 1815; August 24, 1815
I, Benedict Boarman of CC, being sick and weak but of sound mind and memory;
To son Richard Benedict Boarman, two tracts of land lying in St. Mary's County called "Hardship" and Marsh Neck", also negro Vincent.
To son George S. Boarman, tract lying in the neighborhood of St. Joseph's church in St. Mary's County called "St. John's", also negro Matthew.
To three daughters, Elizabeth Boarman, Catharine Boarman and Mary Boarman, all my lands in Charles County consisting of three distinct tracts to be equally divided. Also four negroes, to wit; Winny, Helen, Felix and Jane.
Item: it is my will that in consideration of the lands which I have given to my son George and my three daughters that they nor either of them shall claim any part of the land arising from their mother, which is given to my son Richard as is above bequeathed.
Item: it is my will that my executors shall lay off 50 acres of land adjoining the dwelling lot where my sister Elizabeth Boarman now lives during her single life. Also 200 dollars.
