KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that wee THOMAS COLLY and THOMAS FRESHWATER of the County of Rappa. in Virginia Planters for a good valluable consideracon to us in hand paid by FRANCIS GOWER of the same County Planter have bargained and sold one parcell of land begining at a Corner Red oake by or nigh the Thatch id House of the sd Francis Gower standing by his fence side and soe runing to a stake in the middle of a small pond in a marsh from thence to the River side In all that parcell of land called SANDY POYNT or the old Feild and soe runing by and alonge the said River side to the land of Mr. ROBERT TOMLIN purchased by him the sd Tomlyn of JNO MEADER of the same County To Have and To Hold the said parcell of land to him the sd Francis Gower his heires the said Francis Yeilding & paying the Rights & Services due our Sovraigne Lord the King and Further wee the said Thomas Colly and Thomas Freshwater doe oblige ourselves to accknowledge this our act and deed in the County Court of Rapa when thereunto required and for the true performance of the premises wee the abovesd Tho Golly and Tho, Freshwater have hereunto sett our hands and seales this 11th of of January 1666

in Virga: doe for me my heires make over unto JAMES SAMPFORD of the same County two Black Cowes marked with a Crop and a peice taken out of each side the Eare right eare and a crop on the Left eare one of them the other wth a crop on the Right Eare & an Underkeele & overkeele the left Eare Cropt and a hole taken out & two Steers about six or seaven yeares old colourd one red marked wth a crop & under and overkeele on the right eare and a flower deluce on the left Eare the other Blacke and marked wth a crop on the left eare and a Slitt on the right Eare and more two yearelings one Heifer and one Steere marked wth a Crop on the Right Eare and underkeele & overkeele & the left Eare a flower deluce & two cow Calfes of the same marke To Have and To Hold the abovc catle wth a11 their increase for Ever IN WITT-NESS whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale this 8th of June 1668.
THE CONDICON of the above Deed is such that if the abovesd Geo: Greene shall at all times hereafter from the last of March next Ensuing the date hereof Satisfy and pay all the charges that shall be required of him or recovered from him by the Vestry of the Parish of FARNEHAM in the County abovesd of and concerning one Child and for wch the abovesd James Sampford doth now stand obliged for Sattisfaccon in Behalfe of the sd Greene the wch being & formed and the sd Sampford be by him the sd Green indemniyed then this present Obligation to be void or else to stand and remaine in full power & force according to the real intent and meaning thereof.

FRESHWATER of the County of Rappa. & Prish of Farnham in Virginia for & in consideration of three thousand pounds of Tobacco & caske to me in hand payed by JAMES TUNE his heirs of the same County & Parish aforesaid have bargained sold & made over unto the said JAMES TUNE his heires or assignes a certaine prcell of land containing two hundred and fifty acres scituate & being on the Head of FARNAM CREEKE & formerly taken up by one JOHN SCOTT bounding as followeth Beginning att the Western corner Tree of Mr, ROBERT BAILIE being a Red Oake & running southerly 158 poles to a Red Oake thence South West 16 poles to a Spanish Oake thence South East 100 poles to a red Oake near the MIDLE BRANCH thence East by North 150 poles to the corner tree of Mr. LUKE BILLINGTONs Westerne line thence North 100 poles to the land of the said BILLINGTON and thence West 320 poles to the place where it first begann To Have and To Hold the said quantify of land with all & every the premises thereto belonging or in any wise apprteyning according to the Pattent to him the said JAMES TUNE his heires for ever without the lett in cumbrance or mollestation of me the said FRESHWATER or any other person that either may or shall lay any claime or Interest thereunto he the said TUNE from hence foward yeilding and paying the Rents & services due or: Sovereigne Lord the King for the prmises hereby graunted I the said FRESHWATER with the Consent of JOANNA FRESHWATER my lawfull Wife both with one consent & assent doe further oblige or:selves to confirme this our act & deed by an acknowledgment of the County Court abovesaid when thereunto required by the abovesaid JAMES TUNE and I doe further oblige my selfe to prcure a Pattent for the said land out of the Secretary Office & make assignment thereof to the said JAMES TUNE as speedily as possibly I cann in confirmation of the prmises wee the said THOMAS FRESHWATER & JOANNA have hereunto sett or. hands & seales this 3d day of May 1670

KNOW ALL MEN that I THOMAS FRESHWATER of the County of Rappa. and Parish of Farnham for and in consideration of Three thousand pounds of tobacco and cask to me paid by WILLIAM HAMOCK of the same County and Parish Planter do sell unto the said HAMOCK three hundred acres of land lying and being in the abovesaid County and Parish and nest and adjoyning to the land of GEORGE NICHOLAS and MATHEW WILLCOCKS and adjoyning to DENIS SWELLIVANT being part of a greater Devident of land granted to Mr. ROBERT DAVIS, Mr. RICHARD WEBLY deceased and myself by Pattant and that part thereof formerly seated by JOHN YATES To have and to hold the abovesaid Three hundred acres of land withall pruffitts belonging in as large and ample manner as the same was granted to us by Pattant and do obleige myself my heirs that the said WILLIAM HAMOCK shall at all times hereafter quietly occupy and enjoy the premises herein and hereby granted without the let or trouble of me my heirs or administrators or any other persons whatsoever laying any claim to the premises or any part thereof either from or under us he or they paying the rents and services due to our Sovereign Lord the King Always Provided that the abovesaid Three hundred acres of land by its due Course shall extend to a Neck of Land known by the name of the RICH NECK and if it shall soe happen then to shape the course some other way to avoid it to include the above quantity by these presents granted anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding and further I the said THOMAS FRESHWATER wth the Consent of JOANNA my lawfull Wife do oblige ourselves to confirm this our act and deed in the County Court abovesd when by ye sd HAMOCK required, and in confirmation thereof have sett our hands and seals this 3 day of March 1672/3
