      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that wee THOMAS COLLY and THOMAS FRESHWATER of the County of Rappa. in Virginia Planters for a good valluable consideracon to us in hand paid by FRANCIS GOWER of the same County Planter have bargained and sold one parcell of land begining at a Corner Red oake by or nigh the Thatch id House of the sd Francis Gower standing by his fence side and soe runing to a stake in the middle of a small pond in a marsh from thence to the River side In all that parcell of land called SANDY POYNT or the old Feild and soe runing by and alonge the said River side to the land of Mr. ROBERT TOMLIN purchased by him the sd Tomlyn of JNO MEADER of the same County To Have and To Hold the said parcell of land to him the sd Francis Gower his heires the said Francis Yeilding & paying the Rights & Services due our Sovraigne Lord the King and Further wee the said Thomas Colly and Thomas Freshwater doe oblige ourselves to accknowledge this our act and deed in the County Court of Rapa when thereunto required and for the true performance of the premises wee the abovesd Tho Golly and Tho, Freshwater have hereunto sett our hands and seales this 11th of of January 1666

      THE CONDICON of the above Deed is such that if the abovesd Geo: Greene shall at all times hereafter from the last of March next Ensuing the date hereof Satisfy and pay all the charges that shall be required of him or recovered from him by the Vestry of the Parish of FARNEHAM in the County abovesd of and concerning one Child and for wch the abovesd James Sampford doth now stand obliged for Sattisfaccon in Behalfe of the sd Greene the wch being & formed and the sd Sampford be by him the sd Green indemniyed then this present Obligation to be void or else to stand and remaine in full power & force according to the real intent and meaning thereof.

      KNOW ALL MEN that I THOMAS FRESHWATER of the County of Rappa. and Parish of Farnham for and in consideration of Three thousand pounds of tobacco and cask to me paid by WILLIAM HAMOCK of the same County and Parish Planter do sell unto the said HAMOCK three hundred acres of land lying and being in the abovesaid County and Parish and nest and adjoyning to the land of GEORGE NICHOLAS and MATHEW WILLCOCKS and adjoyning to DENIS SWELLIVANT being part of a greater Devident of land granted to Mr. ROBERT DAVIS, Mr. RICHARD WEBLY deceased and myself by Pattant and that part thereof formerly seated by JOHN YATES To have and to hold the abovesaid Three hundred acres of land withall pruffitts belonging in as large and ample manner as the same was granted to us by Pattant and do obleige myself my heirs that the said WILLIAM HAMOCK shall at all times hereafter quietly occupy and enjoy the premises herein and hereby granted without the let or trouble of me my heirs or administrators or any other persons whatsoever laying any claim to the premises or any part thereof either from or under us he or they paying the rents and services due to our Sovereign Lord the King Always Provided that the abovesaid Three hundred acres of land by its due Course shall extend to a Neck of Land known by the name of the RICH NECK and if it shall soe happen then to shape the course some other way to avoid it to include the above quantity by these presents granted anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding and further I the said THOMAS FRESHWATER wth the Consent of JOANNA my lawfull Wife do oblige ourselves to confirm this our act and deed in the County Court abovesd when by ye sd HAMOCK required, and in confirmation thereof have sett our hands and seals this 3 day of March 1672/3
