      THIS INDENTURE made this 19th day of August in year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty Between MATHIAS WEAVER of County of Culpeper of one part and LEWIS GAAR and his Wife, CATHERINA, of County of ORANGE of the other part Witnesseth that for sum of One hundred and Twenty two pounds current money of Virginia to him said LEWIS GAAR well and truly in hand paid have bargained and sold unto MATHIAS WEAVER his heirs & assigns for ever a Certain piece or parcel of land containing One hundred and fifty acres lying in County of Culpeper and bounded Beginning at one Pine Black Oak and white Oak No. 2 degrees W. 42 poles to three Pines, thence No. 63 degrres E. 120 poles to three Pines, thence No. 40 degrees W. 146 poles to two Pines and white Oak, thence with a straight line to the beginning Togather with all woods waters Orchards and all other appurtenances belonging To have and to hold the aforesaid land from all Incumbrances unto MATHIAS WEAVER his heirs and assigns forever As Witness our hands and seals the day and year above written
