      -to have all of testator's land and plantation whereon testator now dwells called -Mary's Delight" to be divided w/ testator's grandson's part beginning in the south line of the said tract at a stone which divides testator's tract w/ that of Joseph Isaac and thence....until it intersects the north line of the said tract thence . .to the beginning -John's part beginning in the north line at the end of grandson's easterly line and running ....to along Chestnut Stump thence. . to a Spanish oak near testator's meadow thence. . until it intersects grandson's easterly line thence to the beginning -all the remainder of the tract to be the property of Jacob

Originally patented unto Gabriel Parrott late of Anne Arundel County, Maryland and called "Parrotts Thickett but afterwards resurveyed and called "Parrotts Manor" lying on the west side of Patuxent River. Devised in tail by the last will and testament of Henry Hall, late of St. James Parish, clerk in Anne Arundel County, Maryland unto his son Edward Hall which by descent became the right of Ann Griffith the daughter and only child of Edward Hall.       I Samuel Tyler am held and firmly bound unto Thomas Duckett in sum of 1000 pounds specie this May 10, 1785; Whereas Thomas Duckett and Samuel Tyler did on November 29, 1783 purchase of William Lamar part of a tract called "Howertons Range" late the property of his grandmother Mrs. Susanna Lamar, deceased adjoining the lands now in possession of said Duckett and Tyler which land was conveyed by William Lamar unto Thomas Duckett and out of which it was agreed that Tyler should have 40 acres conveyed by Thomas Duckett but it being found more advantageous to the parties it was after agreed that Thomas Duckett should include part of the land which he purchased of Samuel Pottinger and Robert Pottinger so as to make up the aforesaid quantity of 40 acres reference being had to the deed of conveyance this day made. And whereas it apprehended that Thomas Lamar a subject to the King of Great Britain and eldest son of the aforesaid Susannah Lamar, deceased may claim the land of the aforesaid William Lamar. Now the condition of the above obligation is such that if Thomas Lamarr or any other person whatsoever should hereafter claim the possession of the lands by of the aforesaid William Lamar that if they are upon the said Samuel Tyler do immediately and without compulsion reconvey unto Thomas Duckett by good and sufficient deed all that land as before mentioned to be taken out of the said Thomas Duckett's land bought of Samuel Pottinger and Robert Pottinger to make up the quantity of 40 acres and beginning at a stone now planted in the line between Thomas Duckett and Jacob Green and bounded by "Parrots Thickett", the dividing line between Lamar's land and Pottinger's land and the division line now made between Thomas Duckett and Samuel Tyler.
