KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we PHILIP G. MARSTELLER, ELISHA C. DICK, ROGER WEST and JOHN CHAPMAN HUNTER are held and firmly bound unto ROBERT T. HOOE, CHARLES ALEXANDER, RICHARD RATCLIFF and THOMAS GUNNELL Gentlemen, Justices of the Court of Fairfax County now sitting in the sum of One thousand pounds, to the payment whereof well and truly to be made we bind ourselves our heirs firmly by these presents; Sealed with our seals this 18th day of January one thousand seven hundred & ninety six
THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that if the above bound PHILIP G. MARSTELLER & ELISHA CULLEN DICK, Executors of the last Will and Testament of SAMUEL ARELL deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory of all the goods chattles and credits of said deceased, and the same so made do exhibit in the County Court of Fairfax at such time as they shall be thereunto required by said Court; and the same goods chattles and croditz do Troll and truly a4minister according to Law, and farther do male a juct and true account of their actings and doings therein when thereto required by said Court and also shall well and truly pay and deliver all the legacies contained and specified in said Testament as far as the said goods chattles and credits will thereunto extend and the Law shall charge; Then this obligation to be void and of none effect or else to remain in full force and virtue

Will of GEORGE HUNTER. I GEORGE HUNTER of parish of Fairfax in county of Fairfax being in perfect health .. give and bequeath to my Hond. Mother, ELIZABETH HUNTER, all the stock & furniture belonging to me in the Estate of my Deceased Father .. to my Brother, JOHN CHAPMAN HUNTER, the tract of land lying in Fairfax County left me by my Father .. provided he pay my sister, AMELIA TERRETT, Fifty pounds current money of Virginia for buying a negro girl .. to my Brother, NATHANIEL CHAPMAN HUNTER, all the negroes I shall be entitled to from my Fathers estate .. on condition he pay my Sister, MARGARET HUNTER, Fifty pounds Virginia currency to dispose of as she pleases for I am sensible she would not choose to be restricted in her purchase. In consideration of the esteem and love I bear my uncle, GEORGE CHAPMAN, I give and bequeath to him Ten Guineas for the purchase of a ring to wear as a mememto of my regard this seventeenth day of May 1766.
