      I, Roswell Mudd of CC being sick and weak of body but of sound mind and memory
      To son Ignatius Hanson Mudd, tracts of land, Addition to Jenkins Poor Chance, Mudds Purchase containing 30 acres, and part of Lovejoyes Comfort containing 20 acres.
      To wife Susannah, my dwelling plantation being part of a tract of land called Wights Forest, containing 100 acres, and part of Lovejoys Comfort containing 22 acres, during her life and after her decease, to son Ignatius H. Mudd provided he lets his five sisters possess the part of land before mentioned to him during their single life.
      To five daughters; Catharine, Cicely, Mary Ann, Harriet Catherine, and Meckteldis {Matilda}, negroes, Sarah, Sam, and John, when my youngest daughter arrives to the age of sixteen years.
      Item: I will and desire that Henry Thomas Mudd, shall sell and convey all my right and title to a parcel of land called New Bradford, containing 100 acres and the money to be laid out in land for the use of my son Ignatius H. Mudd.
      Item: I will and desire that Henry Thomas Mudd my Executor hereafter appointed shall convey unto Levin Sothoron 100 acres of land called Gates Range if he pays up the principal and interest according to contract.

      I, Mary Mudd of CC, being sick and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding;
      To daughter Rebecca Mudd, negroes; Benjamin, Henry, Joseph and Alley. Also tract of land containing 60 acres which I bought of the state of Maryland, during her single life and after her death or marriage to be the property of my son Leonard Mudd.
      Item: in conformity to my last husband Clement Mudd dec'd, I give to my daughter Rebecca Mudd tract "New Bradford" which came to me by marriage during her single life and after her death or marriage to be the property of Ignatius Hanson Mudd.
      To daughter Rebecca Mudd, 5 cow, 1 yoke of oxen with cart, 9 ewes and lambs, or 9 ewes with lambs, 1 mare, 2 horses, my stock of hogs, my plantation utensils, household and kitchen furniture, after paying my granddaughter Cealy Cooke wife of Richard Cooke, 1 good bed and furniture.
      To granddaughter Mary Ann Mudd of Roswell, 1 mare colt.
      To Reverend Robertr Angeir or any other preist that serves the upper congregation, 15 dollars.
      To granddaughter Hariot Mudd of Roswell, according to the desire of daughter Jane, 1 young heifer.
      To granddaughter Beatrice Mudd, daughter of Leonard Mudd, according to the desire of daughter Jane, 1 stear yearling.
      To children; negro Ester, to either of my children which she may choose to live with.
      To son Leonard Mudd, daughter Mary Price Mudd, daughter Rebecca Mudd and son Roswell Mudd heirs, each ΒΌ part of all the residue of the estate.
