Indenture made November 12, 1771; Alexander Richison, planter of Fairfax County, Virginia in consideration of 14 pounds 1 shilling and 3 pence currency paid by Timothy Mayhugh has sold one half of a tract of land containing 37 acres called "Aaron's Reserve" [sic Aarons Retrieve] beginning at the northeast corner tree of James Naylor's called "Brightwell's Range". Signed Alexander Richison in the presence of and acknowledged before John Baynes, George Hardey Jr. and at the same time Ann Richison wife of Alexander Richison relinquished her right of dower
