I, Virlinder Meek of CC, being sick and weak in body but of sound disposing mind and memory;
To granddaughter Virlinder Barnes Posey, negro Mary and if she should dies w/o heirs, then to granddaughter Sally Booker Posey. Also 1 bed, bedstead & furniture.
To granddaughter Nancy Meek Posey, negro Eliza and if she should die w/o heirs, then to granddaughter Virlinder Barnes Posey
To daughter Molly Posey surviving children, above negroes Mary and Eliza, in case both granddaughter Virlinder Barnes Posey and Nancy Meek Posey die w/o heirs.
To daughter Molly Posey and granddaughter Sally Southerland, all my wearing apparel.
To sons Thomas Meek, Richard Britt Meek, Joseph Harrison Meek, daughter Molly Posey and my two grandchildren Sally Southerland and William Meek Southerland, residue of estate equally divided.

Speak Henerietta, his wife .. his wife & Mary Speak, widow, at or before the ensealing .. in hand paid or secured to be paid by the sd John , and for divers other good causes, grant to sd John Jenkins, a tract of land called Stones Rest, lying in the afd County, bounded by the main fresh run that leads into Nanjamoy Cr, a tract of land in possession of John Jenkins, the north side of the main road that leads from Stones Mill to Portobacco, containing thirty three acres more or less. .. Verlinder, his wife, Richard Speak Heneritta, his wife, Hezekiah Speek, and Theodotia, his wife, Mary Speake, widow, shall faithfully discharge the same & keep him, the sd John Jenkins, absolutely indemnified therefrom, and that they, sd John Meeke and Verlinder, his wife, Richard Speek & Heneritta, his wife, Hezekiah Speake & Theodotia, his wife, Mary Speek, widow, from them and from all other persons, the same above bargained land and premises, unto sd John Jenkins, shall and will warrant and forever gefend by these presents. Heneritta, his wife, Hezekiah Speake of CC, planter, and Theodosia, his wife, and Mary Speake of CC, widow, to George Tubman of CC, planter, for 217 pistoles, a tract of land in CC, originally granted to Thomas Plunkett for 87 acres called the Chance, bounded by the main Fresh of Mattawoman [Cr] on the north side thereof and on the west side of a Jockeys Run, thence to Clarks Inheritance. Also, another tract of land in CC called Plunketts Gift, bounded by sd Chance, Mattawoman Run, containing about 130 acres.
