      they were present with Elizabeth Douglass now deceased when she said it was her desire that her whole estate should be equally
      divided among the four child. that were with her: Sarah, Penelope, Thomas and Jesse,

      Apr 20, 1730 from Benjamin Douglass of CC, Gent, of dowext, to Bennett Hoskins of CC, Gent, for and in consideration of a certain tract of land lying on Potomack River near the mouth of Portobacco Cr, heretofore belonging to a certain John Causeen of CC and also for divers other good causes, part of 2 tracts of land, the one called New York, the other Duck Marsh, and bounded by Cuckolds Cr, containing about 175 acres. Signed - Benj Douglass. Wit - Jno Howard*, Benja Fendall*. Elizabeth Douglass, wife to sd Benjamin Douglass, relinquished her right of dower in and to zhe within mentioned land and premises.
