      Power of Atty. 3d of 8’ber [Oct.] 1704. “Margaret Cary of the parish of Kingston in the County of Gloucester Adm’r of my dec’ed husband Richard Cary have named and Constituted and by these presents do name Ordaine appoint my true and well beloved Brother David Bronaugh of the County of Richmond my true and Lawfull attorney” to collect debts. Signed Margarett x Cary. Wit: Alex’r Doniphan, John x - [illegible appears to be John Tidee]. Att a Court held for Gloucester County on Wednesday the 16th day of Feb’ry 1703[/4]. Margarett Cary Widdow of Richard Cary Deced upon her petition hath order granted for administration of all and singular the Estate of Richard Cary giveing Security according to Law. Whereupon Jeremiah Bronaugh and Lawrence Parrot haveing Entered into bond of foure hundred pounds Sterl with the said Margarett Cary for her due administration Came into Court and acknowledged the same.
