      Indenture made October 1, 1771; Jacob Funck, yeoman of PGCo in consideration of 20 pounds current money of Maryland paid by Conrad Grosh of Frederick County, Maryland has sold the following lots lying in the Town of Hamburgh;
      "Lot Number 43" having 80 feet front on High Street and 230 feet back
      "Lot Number 152" having 80 feet front on Market Street and 230 feet back to Persimmon Street.
      "Lot Number 267" having 80 feet front on Mulberry Street and 230 feet back.
      "Lot Number 279" having 80 feet front on Mulberry Street and 230 feet back.
      To have and to hold subject to a yearly quit rent per lot of one half penny sterling from the 1st day of November next. Signed Jacob Funck in the presence of Benjamin Spyker, Zachariah White and acknowledged before Joshua Beall, Christopher Lowndes and at the same time Ann Funck wife of Jacob Funck released her relinquished her right of dower

      1791-1793 Prince George's County, Maryland Land Records Liber JRM 1 [Abstract by Mike Marshall]; Page 317. At the request of Philip Thomas the following Deed was recorded October 1, 1792
      Indenture made May 19, 1792; Whereas Conrad Grosh of Frederick County, Maryland on October 11, 1791 was seized in fee "Lot Number 54", "Lot Number 152", "Lot Number 267" and "Lot Number 279" in the Town of Hamburgh and did on that day execute a conveyance to William Beatty of Frederick County, Maryland and Elie Williams of Washington County, Maryland certain real property in Frederick County, Maryland, Georgetown, Montgomery County, Maryland and the aforesaid four ots in Hamburgh within the District of Columbia in PGCo in trust as recorded in the land records of Frederick County, Maryland and in the General Court of the Western Shore. Now this indenture witnesseth that Conrad Grosh, William Beatty and Elie Williams in consideration of 140 pounds current money paid by Philip Thomas the aforesaid four lots. Signed Conrad Grosh, William Beatty, Elie Williams in the presence of and acknowledged before William Murdock Beall, Jacob Young (JPs of Frederick County, Maryland and certified by Wm Ritchie, clerk)
