      To all .. ELIZABETH SPENCER, Widow, Administratrix of EDWARD SPENCER, Gent., certain deed 26 March 1743 between JOHN BRANHAM of Orange County and Edward Spencer in his life time sold John
      Branham 104 acres and 13 Negro slaves .. John Branham owed £258.14.
      He paid the greatest part of the principal and interest .. there remaining no more than £12.15.7 ballance. Elizabeth Spencer order John Branham to pay unto Zachary Lewis in satisfaction of a greater sum due by judgment against me in Orange Court as Admstrx. aforesaid 24 May 1754, to which Zachary Lewis has agreed to accept in full satisfaction of this judgment £258.14 and all interest is paid .. John Branham is released .. 23 Aug 1758.

Lewis and other defendants, for certain Negroes (listed) and whereas the above contending parties having agreed to compound and put up the suit in the following terms: that is to say .. the above said Rachel Bramham, now Sisson, Daniel Bramham and Gaydone Bramham, Deft. for Ann White and Joseph Spencer .. giving up rights to the Negroes and Estate .. they claim or pretend to claim .. makeover
      and quit our claim to five of the above Negroes .. 23rd March 1767 .
