THOMAS LORD FAIRFAX Baron of Cameron To all Know ye that I do grant & confirm unto JAMES MARTIN of County of Culpeper a certain Tract or waiste and un granted land in the said County and on Thornton River bounded as by a survey made by Mr. GEORGE HUME as followeth Beginning at three chesnut trees corner to JOSEPH COTTON & running West to one Chesnut Oak on a Ridge thence South to a pine on a Mountain near ROBERT EASTHAM line thence South crossing the Thornton River to two pines on JAMES TAYLOR WHITES line thence with Whites line North to two red oaks and one chesnut Corner to said James Taylor White in Joseph Cotton line thence with Cottons line North West to the beginning containing Two hundred and five acres of land Etc.
