Will of Zacharia Lewis:
Wife: Mary Lewis I lend to her during her life or widowhood all my estate except certain legacies hereafter
mentioned and at her marriage or death
I bequeath all my lands be divided between my daus: Ann Blackwell, Elizabeth McNisk, and Hannah Brent, dau. Ann choice of division and if dau. Elizabeth and Hannah should die without leaving issue then that my other daus. leaving such issue shall have the whole of sd. lands and personal estate.
I give to be divided between sd. daus. Ann, Eliz. and Hannah and my gr.children: Mary Lewis Attwell, Lewis
and Pressly Moorhead considering the sd. Lewis and Pressly as one share and it my desire that negroes
which I lent to my dau. Ann and Hannah and gr.sons Lewis and Pressley now in their possession be considered as part of their dividend. If daus Eliza. or Hannah should die without issue or gr. children Mary Lewis Attwell or Lewis and Pressley Moorhead then their sd. portion or 1/5 part of my personal estate shall be divided between my aforesd. children and gr.children.

Gr.son: George William Brent Blackwell negro David.
Exorx: Mary and son in law David Blackwell.

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I DAVID BLACKWELL of County of Prince William am held and firmly bound unto ZACHARIAH LEWIS of County of FAUQUIER in sum of One thousand pounds current money of Virginia to which payment I bind myself dated this thirtieth day of October in year One thousand seven hundred and
seventy nine
The Condition of this obligation is that Whereas the above named ZACHARIAH LEWIS hath by a Deed of Gift granted unto ANN BLACKWELL, Daughter of said ZACHARIAH LEWIS, and Wife to the above bounded DAVID BLACKWELL, and her heirs for ever a parcel of land containing Ninety acres as her full part of a tract of three hundred and ninety acres Provided Allways that if LUCY LEWIS, MARY LEWIS, ELIZABETH LEWIS or HANNAH LEWIS (Daughters of said ZACHARIAH LEWIS) or either of them should die before marriage & then in such case the said tract of Three hundred and ninety acres shall be equally divided between said ANN BLACKWELL and the Survivors, If therefore said DAVID BLACKWELL or his heirs or any other person under him doth not at any
time hereafter claim or commence a suit in Law for any greater quantity of the said Tract than the above Ninety acres already granted to said ANN BLACKWELL by Deed of Gift (except as above excepted) then this obligation to be void or otherwise to remain in full force in presence of JNO.
