KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that wee LEONARD HILL, ROBERT ROSE & THOMAS PRICE are held & firmly bound unto THOMAS WARING, ALEXANDER PARKER, JAMES GARNETT, NICHOLAS SMITH & RICHARD TYLER JUNR, Gent Justices of the County of Essex this 16th day of ffebry. 1730
The Condition of the obligation is such that if the above bound Leonard Hill Guardian to KATHERINE HILL his heirs do & shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the sd Orphan all such Estate or Estates as is now or hereafter shall come to the hands of the said Leonard Hill as soon as the orphan shall attain to lawful! age or when thereunto required by the Justices of the peace for the County of Essex and keep harmless the said Justices from all trouble & damage that shall or may arise about the sd Estate then this Obligation to be void . . . .

IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN. I LEONARD HILL of the County of Essex in the Colony of Virginia being in sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be to almighty God for ye same I do make this my last Will and Testament revokeing by these presents all will & wills heretofore by me made either in words or Writeing & this I desire should be taken for my last will & testament and noe other and first I bequeath my soul to God that gave it and my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in such decent and Christian manner as Execrs. hereafter named shall think most convenient there to rest till the joyfull resurrection of the just and temporal goods & estate as the Lord farr above my deserts to bestow upon me
I do order bestow give and bequeath to my Son LEONARD HILL this part or parcell of land I now live on and three hundred acres of the lower part of my land called BRIDGERS NECK to he and his heirs for ever.
Item I give and bequeath to my Son THOMAS HILL the remaining part of that tract land lying on the Dragon Swamp and called Bridgers Neck to he & his heirs for ever,
Item I give & bequeath to my Daughter MARY HILL ffive hundred pounds curt. money in cash to be paid her at the year of twenty one or married which shall first happen.
Item I give and bequeath to my two sons Leonard Hill and Thomas Hill and my dear wife all my personal Estate whatsoever to be equally divided between them after my Daughter Mary Hills portion be laid aside to them & their heirs for ever not meaning that my Wife should have her part thereof any Longer than during her natural life and after her decd to be equally divided between
my two sons before mentioned & my daughter Mary Hill.
It's my desire my dear & well beloved Wife should have residance abode in my now dwelling house during her natural life.
Item I give & bequeath to my three Sisters ANN TUNSTALL, CATHERINE PRICE & BETTY HILL each a mourning ring twenty shills price.
Item I give & bequeath to my Brother JOHN BRYANT one mourning ring twenty shills price.
Item I give and bequeath to my well beloved Friends PAUL MICOU JUNR. & JOHN MICOU each a mourning ring 20/ price.
Item I give & bequeath to JOHN VASS one mourning ring fifteen shillings price
Item I give and bequeath to my good friend Paul Micou junr. my London built boat sails oars mast spreats and all thereunto belonging her.
Item I do make constitute & appoint my well beloved friend Mr. Paul Micou junr & Mr John Micou Execrs of this my last will and Testament In Witness that this is my last will and Testament I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th day of June 1733.
