      THIS INDENTURE QUADRIPARTITE made the first day of June 1772 Between TUNSTALL BANKS of County of KING & QUEEN, JAMES BANKS of County of ESSEX and GEORGE BANKS Marinor of the one part and MICHAEL WOOTS [UTZ} of County of Culpeper Witnesseth that said Tunstall Banks, James Banks & George Banks for sum of One hundred and thirty pounds have sold unto the said Michael Woots all that tract of land which was taken up by WILLIAM BANKS for RALPH BANKS his Father being in the County of Culpeper and adjoining the lands of JOSEPH TOWLES containing according to the old Established bounds Four hundred acres of land . . .

      George the third to RICHARD TUNSTALL and JAMES DICKIE, CHARLES MORTIMER and JOHN CORRIE of County of KING and QUEEN Gentlemen Greeting Whereas Tunstall Banks and Sarah his Wife & James Banks and Frances his Wife have sold unto MICHAL UTZ land in County of Culpeper and Whereas the said Sarah and Frances cannot travel to our Court of Culpeper to make acknowledgement of the said conveyance we do give you power to go personally to the said Sarah and Frances and receive their acknowledgement of the same and when you have received their acknowledgement that you Certifie us thereof in our Court. Witness JOHN JAMESON Clerk of our said Court at the Ct: House the Tenth day of October in the Twelfth year of our Reign. Pursuant to the Commission we Richard Tunstall and James Dickie did go to the said Sarah Banks Wife of said Tunstall Banks took her acknowledgement. Certified under our hands this Sixteenth day of October 1772.

      THIS INDENTURE Witnesseth that WILLIAM GULLY and SALLY his Wife for and in consideration of NEGROE Silva and fifty pound Cash Instantly one Cow and Calf one Ewe and Lamb one Sow with Pigg said Cow to be delivered at the time of said William Gully Quiting Overseeing and going to house keeping hath sold and Covenanted with said BOHANNAN and ANN his Wife both parties of the County of Culpeper and Parish of Bromfield all the Title of and to the Estate of GEORGE NUNN Deceased as well the Estate of the said SALLY as her Brother BARNITT NUNNs Deceased right in George Nunns Estate said Barnitt Nunn being dead, Salley being intermarried with William Gully he the said Gully with Sally his Wife does hereby give up all rights to the Estate of George Nunn to the said JOHN BOHANNON his heirs forever in consideration of the things above mentioned To Holdall and Singular the Estate of George Nunn Decd Except the land said Bohannon sold as the part assign'd his Wife during her natual life by said George Nunn her former husband now wife to said Bohannan and the right by agreement said Bohannon with his Wife transfer'd to TUNSTAL BANKS and one Negroe supposed to be reasonable by just judgment above the age of six and under thirty years of age at the Demise of the said John Bohannon all the Estate administred by ANN NUNN Executrix and JOHN PENDLETON Executor of George Nunn Decd Estate and that hereafter it shall be known and understood to all that their never shall be any further claim on the Executors of the said George Nunn from me. In Witness this 12th day of November 1778.

      This Indenture was proved by the Oath of GEORGE WEATHERALL a Witness thereto which is ordered to be Certified and at a Court held for the said County the 13th day of February 1779 was further proved by the Oath of ELLIOT BOHANNON which is also ordered to be Certified and at a Court held for the said County the 17th day of May 1779 was further proved by the Oath of AMBROSE BOHANNON and ordered to be recorded.
