      THIS INDENTURE made ye 19th March 1688 and in the Fifth yeare of the Reign of of our Soveraign Lord James ye second Between CHARLES CURTIS of Middx. County in Virga: free Planter of ye one part & WILLIAM CHURCHILL of ye sd County Merchant of ye other part Witnesseth that ye sd Charles Curtis for the summe Fifty three pounds good & Lawfull money of Engld: path granted unto ye sd William Churchill his heires and assigns Two hundred and eight acres of land in Middx. County being parte of a Devident of Five hundred acres of land bought by him of Mr. RICHARD PERROTT ye Elder & Mr. RICHARD PERROTT ye Younger as by a Deed of Sale ye 3d day of April 1688 which sd Five hundred acres of land is part of a Devident off Eight hundred acres of land formerly granted by Patent beareing date ye 26th of January in ye yeare off 1661 to ye sd Richard Perrott the Elder & his heires which said Two hundred and Eight acres of land being part of ye Five hundred acres of land is meashured out & bounded Begining at a marked Pesimon & white oake neare ye mouth of Perrotts alias Dales Creeke and North East & running thence down ye Bay of the sd Creek to the Long Mash Gutt thence up along the sd: gutt South to a marked Ash & Poplar in ye maine Branch of ye sd : Gutt neare ye head tion parte of the Two hundred and Eight acres of land is commonly known or called by the name of HELL NECK

      Then personally appeared Mr. Charles Curtis & in open Courte did acknowledge the above said Deed to be his act and deed. Mrs. ROSE CURTIS alsoe came into Court & being privately examined acknowledged the same to be her act and deed
      Seizen & Delivery by Turff & Twigg was made of the within mentioned Land by the within named Charles Curtis to William Churchill in the presents of us being called as Wittnesses thereof the nineteenth day of March 1688 CHRISTOFER KILBEE
      Bee it known that I Charles Curtis of Middlesex County am bound unto William Churchill of ye same County Marcht, in ye sum of One hundred and sixty pounds of good & lawful' money of England this 19th day of March 1688
      The Condition of this Obligation is such that if ye above named Charles Curtis should fulfill all covenants declared in an Indenture of Sale of Land that then this present obligation to be voyd or else to stand

      THIS INDENTURE made this first day of Feb: 1689 & in the second year of ye Reigne of King William & Queene Mary Betwene CHARLES CURTIS of ye County of Middx. in Virga: free Planter of one part and WILLIAM CHURCHILL ye same County Merch t, of the other part Witnesseth that ye said Charles Curtis doth for the sum of One hundred & Eleven pounds One Shill: & sixpence good & lawful' money of England hath granted unto the sd William Churchill & his heirs & assigns forever all that his ye sd Charles Curtis his plantation whereon he now dvelleth or lately in ye fennure & Occupation of ye sd Charles Curtis & in ye Tennure & occupation of PETER BROMWELL Scituate in Middx. County & conteyneth Three hundred and two acres of land being ye Remdr: of a Divident of land cont: Five hundred acres of land bought by dim ye said Charles Curtis of Mr: RICHARD PERROT ye Elder & Mr: RICHARD PERROT ye younger as by Deed dated ye 2d day of April! 1683 which sd Five hundred acres of land is parte of a Devident of Eight hundred acres of land formerly granted by Pattent )eareing date ye 26th day of January 1661 to ye said Richard Perrot ye Elder wch: sd three hundred and two acres of land is commonly called and knowne by these several lames (to Witt) the Low Ground, the Locust Thickett & ye Long Marsh & was surveyed )by Mr; EDWIN THACKER in March last being in ye occupation of sd Charles Curtis or of sd Peter Bromwell by Vertue of a certaine lease to him given by ye sd Charles Curtis for the span of Ten yeares wch sd lease is to remaine good to him ye said Peter Bromvell provided he pay to ye sd William Churchill ye sume of foyer thousand pounds of good seewt sented Tobacco & Cask at Eight yearely paymts: In presents of us DENEL PEAD, Charles Curtis

      Bee it known that I Charles Curtis do acknowlege my selfe to be tyed & firmely bound unto William Churchill in the full sume of Two hundred Twenty two pounds of good & lawfull money of England this first day of Feb: 1689
      The Condition of ye above obliglation is such that if ye above bounden Charles Curtis doe truely observe all the covenants specified in an Indenture of Deed of Sale according to ye purport that then this obligation to be Voyd or else to stand
