      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents yt: I HENRY LUCAS of the Parish of Sittingbourne in ye Coty. of Rappa. for severall good causes thereunto mee mooving have granted and given unto ALICE THORPE Relict of THO: THORPE lately dec'd the one halfe or moyety of land formerly purchased by us the sd Tho. Thorpe & Henry Lucas of JNO. AYERS of the Parish & County aforesd & cont: 105 acres lying and being on the South side of Rappa. River & accknowledged unto us in Court ye vch sd one halfe or moyety wth the buildings clearings & fences begunn and finished by the aforesd Tho: Thorpe I the sd Lucas doe give and make over from me my heires in as full large & ample manner as it was made over to us to all true Intents and purposes thereof unto Alice Thorp Relict of the sd Thomas Thorp during her life and afterwards to WILLM. the Eldest Sonn of the sd Thomas and his heires for Ever the sd Alice & Wm afsd To Have and To Hold the sd Premises the sd Alice & Willm: yeelding and paying all such Quitrents as of right are Due & of customed required unto the truth of wch I have hereunto interchangeabley undr: putt my hand &Seale this 6th day of Febry 1666/7.
