      KNOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I JOHN WATERS of the County of Rappae. in Virginia, Planter, have for a valuable consideration in hand received sold unto THOMAS GREENE his heires or assignes Two hundred acre of land being in the County aforesaid and on the South East side of PISCATICON CREEK, it being part of a Devident wch was granted to Mr: THOMAS PATTISON bearing date the twelfth day of June in the yeare one thouand Six hundred sixty and nine, and by the aforesaid PATTISON convayed to Mr; RICHARD GLOVER and by the said GLOVER convayed to me and hnunded beginning at a great branch a little below the lower GOING OVER of KILLMANS BEAVER DAMS and soc bounding betweene the aforesaid branch and BEAVERDAME
      until! the aforesaid quantity of Two hundred acres be satisfyed but if it justly appeare that any part of the aforesaid land should appertyne to WM. YOUNG of PISCATICON then to begin where he ends and run up along by the aforesd BEAVERDAMS till the afore: said quantity of Two hundred acres be fully satisfyed; To have hold & enjoy the land withal! rights and priviledges to him the aforesaid THOMAS GREENE his heires or assignes from clayme of me my heires or any person whatsoever, and to acknowledge the same in open Court when the said GREENE shall think fit; And Likewise my Wives right to; And Likewise to give livery & semen of the aforesaid land; To all wch I bind my selfe my heires As Witness or: hands this 5th of March 1678

      NOW ALL MEN by these prsents that I JOHN WATERS of the County of Rappa: and ARABELLA my Wife for the sume and just quantitie of Five thousand three hundred pounds of sweet sented Tobo: and caste have granted unto JOHN WEBSTER his heires forever, Three hundred acres of land being in the County aforesaid on the South East side of PISCATACON CREEKE, it being part and parcell of a Dividend of land which I the said WATERS puchased of RICHARD GLOVER and by the said GLOVER purchased of THOMAS PATTISON and bounded as followeth The said Three hundred acres of land beginning at the head of a certaine Bever Damme comonly known by the name of KILLMANS BEAVER DAMME, thence runing up a certain Swamp comonly known by the name of THOMAS BROWNS SWAMP till we meet with the land which Mr. JOHN CALLIVOE cloth now possess, thence into the above mentioned the said JOHN WEBSTER be fully satisifed his three hundred acres of land To have and to hold all the hereby mentioned parcell of land with their appurtenances unto JOHN WEBSTER his heires forever, And Furthermore I the said JOHN WATERS and ARABELLA my Wife doe for our heires warrant and agree with the said JOHN WEBSTER his heires that they shall peaceably hold the demised premisses and every part thereof without the lawful! left or denyall of me the said JOHN WATERS or ARABELLA my Wife our heires or any other persons pretending claime under us, Together with all rights & previlidges with all proffitts and hereditamts: belonging to the said land in as full manner as may be, and Furthermore I the said JOHN WATERS and ARABELLA my Wife doe oblige ourselves unto the said JOHN WEBSTER to give further assurance as he or Councell learned in the Law shall think fitt and do further oblige ourselves to lay out this above aforesd. land betwixt the date hereof and the first day of June next ensuing the date hereof by a just and lawful! survay In Witness of wch foremenconed prmisses have hereunto sett or: our hands & seales this third day of December One thousand Six hundred Eighty and foure

      TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whom these presents shall come I JOHN WATERS of the County of Rappa: Gent. and ARABELLA my Wife send Greeting. Know yee that I the sd JOHN WATERS and ARABELLA my Wife for the full sum of Sixteen pounds Sterling to us in hand paid by GEORGE BROOKS of the sd County, Planter, and for diverse good causes us thereunto moveing have sold unto the sd GEORGE BROOKS his heires all that parcell of land conteyning Two hundred acres more or less situate and being on the South side of PISCATACON CREEK in the County aforesd. being part of a Dividend of land purchased by me the said JOHN WATERS of WILLIAM THORNTON and RICHARD GLOVER and bounded by a late survey made by Mr. RICHARD WHITEHEAD as followeth (viz.) Beginning at the Northermost Corner JOHN SAVAGES back line being a red Oake standing on the North side of the sd BROOKS SPRING BRANCH and running thence South West to a Stake by two marked red Oakes and thence South East to a marked Hickory corner tree of JNO. WEBSTERs land and thence North East alongst the sd WEBSTERs line to a Stake between a red Oake and a white Oake standing in the aforesd, line
      and thence North West along the sd Surveyors line to the first mencioned red Oake the place it first began To have and to hold the sd parcell of land with all rights and priviledges and also free liberty and Egress and Ingress Regress to and from the said land and every part thereof with all other the premisses belonging unto him the said GEORGE BROOKS his heires for ever and I the sd JOHN WATERS and ARARELLA my Wife do promise that the sd parcel! of land is now free and cleerc from all form of Incumbrances whatsoever the quit rents that shall hereafter become due for the premisses only excepted and further I the sd JOHN WATERS and ARABELLA my Wife do grant with the sd GEO: BROOKS shall hereafter quietly possess and enjoy the said land without the trouble of me said JOHN WATERS and ARABELLA my Wife or any other persons whatsoever and warrant and defend the sd land to said GEO: BROOKS from all persons that shall have claime therein In Witness whereof I the said JOHN WATERS and ARABELLA my Wife have sett our hands and seales the first day of June 1686
