KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I WM. CLEATON [Clayton] in the County of Rappa. and in the Parish of North Farnham doth for a consideration of Two thousand pounds of good sound every way well conditioned Tobb: and caske to me paid doth sell and make over unto ABRAHAM COOKE of the County and Parish all my right title and interest of Fifty acres of land the which land belongeth to my Mothers Plantation and (blot) hundred acres of land that she doth now live on and that my Father bought of WM. LANDMAN by Deed from under hand will more at large appeare and I the sd WM. CLEATON and MARY my Wife do warrant the sd land to sd ABRAHAM COOKE his heirs from us our heirs and further from all persons whatsoever under or by us with all rights whatsoever in as full and ample manner as the Law shall require and further to acknowledge this I the sd WM. CLAYTON and MARY my Wife do oblige ourselves in the penalty of Five thousand pounds of Tobb: and Caske to acknowledge in Rappa Court when said ABRAHAM COOKE shall require as Witness our hands and seales this 28th day of May 1689

THIS DEED INDENTED in the year of our Lord God according to the computation of the Church of England 1689 Between ABRAHAM COOK of County of Rappa, and THOMAS GLADMAN of the aforesaid County Witnesseth that sd ABRAHAM COOK for and in consideration of the sum of Two thousand and Foure hundred pounds of Tobb, in Caske paid hath sold unto THOS: GLADMAN fifty acres of land being on the West side of TOTASKEY CREEK it being the half of one hundred acres of land lately bought WILLIAM CLEATON with all houses buildings upon the sd land and all other rights thereunto belonging which sd land I the said ABRAHAM COOKE do warrant to him sd THO: GLADMAN from the claime of any persons and furthermore I sd ABRAHAM COOKE and MARTHE my now Wife will in due forme of Law at Next October Court held for Rappa County before his Maties Justices of the Peace for the sd County in their open Court sitting acknowledge this present Deed also their right to the sd land mentioned both of Dower and Thirds or otherwise which sd land I ABRAHAM COOKE do warrant from me my heirs to him sd THOMAS GLADMAN his heirs forever In Witness whereof above ABRAHAM COOKE have sett our hand and seale this 28th day of September 1689 Signed Sealed and Delivered in presents of

THIS DEED INDENTED made the Two and Twentieth day of February in yeare of our Lord God according to the computation of the Church of England One thousand six hundred Eighty and nine Between ABRAHAM COOKE of Parish of North Farnham in County of Rappa, Plantr., of one part and JOHN MORGAN of same County and Parish. Blacksmith, of other part Witnesseth that ABRAHAM COOKE for the full sum of Two thousand pounds of every way good sound merchantable to him in hand paid by JOHN MORGAN sd ABRAHAM COOKE doth sell unto JOHN MORGAN his heirs all that my parcell of land being in Parish and County abovesd on the West side of a Creek there called TOTASKEY CREEKE conteyning Fifty acres being the moiety or half of a parcell land formerly purchased by one WILLIAM CLAYTON deced of one WM. LANDMAN deced as by Deed relation being thereunto had may appear which sd Fifty acres of land to be sold sd ABRAHAM COOKE had of the Deed of WILLIAM CLAYTON, Son of the above named WILLIAM CLAYTON deceased, as by the Deed relation being had and it doth appeare To have and to hold the Fifty acres of land with all the appertinances belonging unto the said JOHN MORGAN his heirs In Witness whereof the above named ABRAHAM COOKE to these presents Deeds indented hath sett his hand and seale

Sealed and Delivered peaceably and quiet possession of the land within menconed to be sold was had and taken by within ABRAHAM COOKE and imediately by him delivered to the within written in the Presents of THOMAS LEWIS, JAMES ELLIS
KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that MARTHA COOKE, Wife of the within named ABRAHAM COOKE, doe hereby give my free consent to the Deed within written and also do relinquish all my right of Dower and thirds in the land within menconed unto the within said JOHN MORGAN his heirs and assigns Witness my hand the day and year fist

KNOW ALL MEN that we ABRAHAM COOKE and WILLIAM CLAYTON both of County of Rappa Planter, are bound unto JOHN MORGAN of said County and Blacksmith in sum of Five thousand pounds of every way good sound Mercht, tobacco to be paid dated the two and twentieth day of February in year One thousand Six hundred Eighty and nine
The Condicion is such that if they the above bound ABRAHAM COOKE and WILLIAM CLAYTON doe in all things keep the covenants in one Deed indented of conveyance between the above ABRAHAM COOKE of the one part and the above menconed JOHN MORGAN of the other part and also that if the above hounded ABRAHAM COOKE and MARTHA his Wife at some Court holden for the County aforesd within six months next in open Court before their Maties Justices of the peace then sitting acknowledge all her right, of Dower and thirds in sd Deed unto JOHN MORGAN his heirs then this present obligation to he void else abide and remain in full force
