To Richard Cockrell-all the estate he has of mine in his possession.
To Charles Reason son of my sister Sarah Reason dec'd-one hundred and fifty pounds current money to be paid in gold and silver.
To Spencer Betts son of my brother William Betts-fifty pounds current money to be paid in gold and silver if the said Spencer can be found, if not to Charles Reason.
To Hannah Maurison-negro wench Daros, boy Billey, and girl Betty and her increase, at Hannah Maurison decease they to be divided among all her children.
To Hannah Wilkins-negro boy James, one feather bed and furniture, my great chest and all that is in it.
To Winefred Betts-negro fellow Sam.
Land I now live on to be sold and the money to be equally divided between Elijah Betts and Milla Betts, children of my cousin William Betts dec'd and Mary Fossett, daughter of my cousin Sarah Fossett, and Betty Chilton, daughter of my cousin Mary Chilton, wife of Andrew Chilton.
To friend Samuel Blackwell-five pounds current money.
To Beverly Keeve-four pounds current money.
To Daniel Betts and Winefred Betts, children of my brother William Betts dec'd-all the rest of my estate after my debts are paid.

TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whom these p:sents shall come, I WM: TIGNALL of GREAT WICOCOMICOE in ye County of Northumberland send Greeting in our Lord God everlasting; Know yee that I the said WM: TIGNALL for diverse good causes but more especially for Three thousand pounds of good tobaccoe & caste or the value thereof have sold unto JOHN REASON of ye said County, a parcell of Land conteyning One hundred acres, being pte: of a dividend of Five hundred & fifty acres of Land whereon I now live being bounded vizt, on ye line of Coll: PETER ASHTON and ye land wch: I now live on circumscribed & bounded by mked trees; To have & to hold ye said Hundred acres wth: all ye proffitts unto him ye said JNO: REASON his heires & assignes for ever, and doe agree that ye sd: parcell of Land is free from all former grantes or from molestacon of any p:sons, whatsoever, by yt: Rent referred to his Matie; in ye Pat- tent, Further I doe oblige my selfe to acknowledge yt: said land & ye sale thereof in ye next Corti held for this County; in Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand & seale this 24th of Octobr: one thousand size hundred sixty eight Annoq: R R Caroli 2d 20th

IN YE NAME OF GOD Amen. the last day of March 1670 according to the Computacon of ye Church of England, I HENRY LAMBERT of CHEPPENHAM in ye County of WILKS, Mercht., being of p:fect memory & remembrance praised be God doe make & ordeyne this my Last Will & Testamt: in manner & forme following; First, I bequeath my Soul into ye hands of Allmighty God my Maker hoping yt: through ye meritorious death & passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour & Redeemer to receive free pardon & forgiveness of my Sinnes, and as for my body to be buryed & layd in ye Earth;
