Richard Speake, by his petition, says that he has had a path or road for many years past, that was formerly kept open by John Speake, father to the sd petitioner, and Matthew Dike, which leads to the Church and Mr. Dent's Mill, but the ancient path is now stopped up by Samuel Grey, and that the sd Samuel has cleared a path at several times for him and others, but frequently takes it into his plantation so that the petitioner has oft times little or no road to his Parish Church. Therefore he asks that he may have a road laid off for him, which he would keep open at his own expense. Whereupon it is ordered that Richard Harrison, William Eilbeck, & William Dent of CC, Gent, do view the premises and report their opinion to next Nov CC Court.
