      Wife Winifred-these negroes during her natural life vizt:
      Isaac, James, Bessick, Jude Bessick, Nelson, Moll, and Letty, and after my wifes decease the male negroes to be equally divided between my three eldest sons:-Edward, William, and Richard Coles, and the female negroes to be equally divided between my three daughters:-Fransinah, Betty, and Winefred Coles.
      Wife-one chest of drawers, all my silver plate, and two square cherry tree tables, and my riding chair and two horses.
      My three daughters Fransinah, Betty, and Winifred Coles-the following negroes to be equally divided between them vizt: Hannah and her children, Poll and her children, and Jude Bessick's children vizt: George, Jeny, Sue, and Peter.
      Daughter Winifred-negro girl Pussonna.
      Daughter Fransinah-one chest of drawers.
      Daughter Betty-one chest of drawers.
      Son Edward Coles-one cherry tree desk.
      Son William Coles-one walnut desk and bookcase.
      The land I possess joyning to the land formerly Mr. Gills, also the land I bought of Thomas Gill,Junr., and the land I bought
      of John Edmonds, I give to be equally divided between my two sons John, and George Coles, and my grist mill also to be divided equally between them.

      To son John Cole-all my lands not before bequeathed vizt: my land at home and up at my mill, and also my water mill and one acre joining.
      Rest of estate to be equally divided between my four children Eliza Coles, Jno Coles, Esther Hughlett, Alce Conway.

      Husband Jonathan Betts-two negroes Jamy and Mose during his natural life.
      Brother William Nelms-two negro men Tom and Benn and at his death to his son Joseph Nelms.
      Cousin Easter Hughlett-three negroes Sue, Moses, and Kate,to her and her heirs, if none to the heirs of my brother William Nelms, she also to have one feather be and furniture, five head of cattle.
      To Alce Cole-three negroes Lucy, Hannah, and Judy, and to her and her heirs, if none to John Cole Junr., Alce to have one feather bed and furniture with five head of cattle.
      Cousin John Cole Junr.-two negroes if living, which I left the use to my husband Jonathan Betts for his lifetime, one feather bed and furniture.
      Cousin Alce Cole-my riding saddle and riding horse and some other road horse.
      Two Cousins Easter Hughlett and Alce Cole-all the rest of my movable estate that is upon records not already given to be equally divided, they to have my waring cloaths.

      To my brother John Coles daughter Elizabeth Wise-four negroes Peter, Sarah, George, and Agge, during her life and then to her children.
      To cousin Esther and John Hughlett-one negro man.
      To cousin Alce and James Conway-one negro man.
      To Francinah Conway-my chest of drawers.
      To Peter Hacks son George, upon the Eastward Shore-oné seal skin trunk.
      To Sarah Carpenter-all her children during her life, and negroes Pleasant, Jobe, and Cate, may live upon my land and not be disturbed, and not under any overseer.
      Estate not to be appraised.
      To Cousin John Coles-all my land during his life, and after his decease to his three sons Edward, William, and Richard Coles, to be equally divided between them and their male heirs lawfully begotten of their bodies, and if either should die without lawful issue, to return to the surviving brothers and their lawfully begotten heirs of their body. The land not to be sold except to one another.
      Rest of my negroes to cousin John Coles during his natural life, and at his decease to be equally divided between all the said Coles sons.
      Estate belonging to me in England to be equally divided between my four cousins John Cotes, Eliza Wise, Esther Hughlett, and Alce Conway.
      Rest of my estate to cousin John Coles.
