      This Indenture made this twenty ninth Day of April in the Year seventeen hundred and sixty eight Between Thomas Addison Junior of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Addison Murdock of the same County and Province Gentleman and John Murdock of Frederick County in the Province aforesaid Gentleman of the other part Whereas divers Controversies and disputes having arisen between the said Thomas Addison Junior Addison Murdock John Murdock and a certain William Murdock of Prince Georges County aforesaid Gentleman they the said Thomas Addison Junior Addison Murdock John Murdock and William Murdock for the final settlement thereof did submit the same to the determination of certain David Ross Charles Grahame and James Dick Gentleman and the said David Ross Charles Grahame and James Dick in pursuance of the said Submission did Award and Order (among other Things) that the said Addison Murdock and John Murdock should upon the payment of the sum of twelve hundred and sixty six Pounds one shilling and ten pence sterling on or before the eleventh Day of January seventeen hundred and sixty eight with legal Interest from the Date of the said Award by the said Thomas Addison Junior to the said William Murdock at the proper Costs and Charges of the said Thomas Addison Junior make and execute good and sufficient Deeds of Conveyance by Lease and Release for conveying unto the said Thomas Addison Junior and his Heirs all their Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever as well in Law as in Equity of in and to a Tract or parcel of Land called Addisons Choice lying in Frederick County and of in and to every part and parcel thereof with all and singular the Rights Members and Appurtenances to the same belonging or in any manner Appurtaining And further that in Case the said Thomas Addison Junior should refuse or Neglect to pay the said sum of Twelve hundred and sixty six Pounds one shilling and ten pence Sterling with legal Interest for the same from the Date of the said Award on or before the said eleventh Day of January seventeen hundred and sixty eight that upon such refusal or neglect the said Thomas Addison Junior should at the proper Costs and Charges of the said Addison Murdock and John Murdock make and execute good and sufficient Deeds of Conveyance by Lease and Release for Conveying unto the said Addison Murdock and John Murdock and their Heirs as Tenants in Common all his Right Title Interest property Claim and Demand whatsoever as well in Law as in Equity of in and to the said Tract or in and by the same Award under the Hands and Seals of the said Arbitrators reference being thereunto had will appear And Whereas the said Thomas Addison Junior hath refused to pay to the said William Murdock the aforesaid sum of Money or any part Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Thomas Addison Junior in pursuance of the Award aforesaidand for and in Consideration of the premisses and of the sum of five shillings sterling Money to him in Hand paid by the said Addison Murdock and John Murdock at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the Receipt whereof the said Thomas Addison to have and to hold the other undivided Moiety of the said Tract or parcel of Land and the Right Title Interest and Estate of the said Thomas Addison Junior of in and to the Tract or parcel of Land aforesaid and premisses and every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances to him the said John Murdock his Heirs and Assigns forever to the only proper use and behoof of him the said John Murdock his Heirs and Assigns forever as Tenants in Common and not as Jointenants and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Thomas Addison Junior for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby Covenant Grant Promise and Agree to and with the said Addison Murdock and John Murdock their Heirs and Assigns that he the said Thomas Addison Junior and his Heirs shall and will at any Time or Times hereafter at the reasonable request Cost and Charge of them the said Addison Murdock and John Murdock their Heirs or Assigns make do Execute and acknowledge or cause or procure to be made done executed and acknowledged all and every further and other lawfuland reasonable Deed or Deeds Conveyance or Conveyances Assurance or Assurances whatsoever for the further better and more perfect assuring and Conveying the said premisses hereby bargained and Conveyed unto the said Addison Murdock and John Murdock their Heirs and Assigns so that the said further Assurance contain no other Clause or warranty than is herein contained And that he the said Thomas Addison and his Heirs the said hereby bargained and Conveyed premisses to them the said Addison       Indenture made October 2, 1782; between Rachel Garrick and John Garrick (husband and wife) of one part and Eleazer Standage of the other part. Whereas the late major Thomas Addison by his last will and testament did devise to Rachel Garrick who at the time of the making of the will and at his decease lived with him as a housekeeper under the name of Rachel Watkins being then the widow of John Watkins of the tract containing 100 acres and described in the said will and is the place where Robert Sinclair then lived being part of his "Gisborough Manor" during her natural life and in consideration of 30 pounds paid by Eleazer Standage has sold the aforesaid tract during her her life.
