      23 Jan 1794 Thomas Latimer said to be of Loudoun County in the Commonwealth of VA purchased land in Prince George’s County, MD by Deed from John Simpson for the sum of two hundred seventy five pounds of current money a tract or parcel of land called Locust Thicket bordering Elizabeth Alders Part of Locust Thicket containing 124 acres. Also all the part of Locust Thicket said John Simpson purchased of a certain George Alder containing four acres together with the houses buildings fencing orchard and improvements. Signed in the presence of C L Hamilton, James Henderson and Philip Briscoe.
