      Appraised Aug 30, 1775. Mentions Negro man _Isaac; Negro lads Ralph and Charles; Negro wenches Sarah, Bess, Fider, Jenny; Negro girls Nell, Jenny, Liz, Mary; Negro boys Josh, Joseph, Harry, John, Arron; 7 horses, 30 cattle, 40 sheep, 52 pigs; household furniture and items including 1 maple desk, 6 old books.       On May 26, 1777, came Thomas Semmes and W Jenkins, executors of George Jenkins, late of CC, decd, and made oath that the afd inventory is just .. at the time of the .. (except the articles .. and in the last 4 lives) and did a the valuation thereof as set forth in sd inventory, but departed this life without signing his name thereto.

      George Jenkins Final Account. Nov 10, 1778. The account of William Jenkins and Thomas Semmes, executors of George Jenkins, late of CC, deceased, viz =
      Debts include: the inventory of sd deceased's estate, exhibited into the Prerogative office on May 26, 1778, amounting to 784 £11 shillings 10 pence; tobacco left by the deceased clear of overseers share; the blowing down the tobacco house; corn made the year the deceased died; 36 barrels of weevil eaten wheat; money received of the Zephaniah Turner, of James Fernandis. The whole amount: 1173 £9 shillings 10-1/2 pence.
      Disbursements went to: Jamieson Johnson and Co.; Giles Ford and Co.; Robert Christie; Christie and Stone; Anne Thompson; Rev. George Hunter to as per the deposition of the accountant Thomas Semmes; Joseph Marbury; Dr. Edward Semmes; Elizabeth Higgins; William Hanson, Sheriff, for levies; Elizabeth Sympson; Dr. James Craik; Dr. Gustavus Brown; Richard Owengs; Daniel Jenifer for letters; Colonel William Fitzhugh, Commissary Generals fees; Zephaniah Turner; Walter Hanson, Register, for recording inventory and for stating, passing, and recording this account; clothing the Negroes. Balance to be disposed according to the deceased's will; 1025 £3 shillings 5 pence.
