      This Indenture made the Tenth day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Between Zachariah Wade of Fairfax County in the Colony of Virginia but now of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and Enoch Magruder of Prince Georges County in the Province aforesaid Merchant of the other part Witnesseth That the said Zachariah Wade party to these Presents for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred and Twenty Pounds nineteen shillings and eight pence Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said Enoch Magruder the Receipt whereof he the said Zachariah Wade doth hereby acknowledge Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Released Confirmed and made over and by these Presents doth for himself and his Heirs give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff Release Confirm and make over unto the said Enoch Magruder his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Stoney Harbour lying and being in Prince Georges County to him the said Zachariah Wade by the Testament and last Will of his Deceased Father Zachariah Wade and also all that Tract will from time to time and at all Times hereafter at the reasonable request and at the Costs and Charges in the Law of the said Enoch Magruder his Heirs and Assigns make do Suffer and Execute or cause and procure to be made done suffered & executed all and every such further and other Lawful Acts Deed Conveyances and Assurances whatsoever for the further and better conveying and assuring the hereby Bargained and Sold Lands and Premisses unto the Said Enoch Magruder his Heirs and Assigns be it by acknowledgment or Inrollment Fine and Recovery or by any other Ways and Means as by his or their Counsell learned in the Law shall be reasonably Devised Advised or required And whereas the said Enoch Magruder in April Term in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and fifty Nine by Writ of Entry Sur Disseisin en le post did recover against the said Zachariah Wade all that Tract or Parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Stoney Harbour lying and being in Prince Georges County aforesaid which Same Part lyeth on the North Side of Tinkers Run and was devised to him the said Zachariah Wade by he Testament and last Will of his Deceased Father Zachariah Wade and also all that Tract or parcel of Land called Wades Adventure lying and being in the county aforesaid and adjoining to the said part of the afsd Tract of Land called Stoney Harbour containing One hundred Acres of Land which same part of Stoney Harbour and the aforesaid Tract of Land called Wades Adventure were Devised to the afsd Zachariah Wade in and by the Testament and last Will of his Deceased Father Zachariah Wade as in and by the said Recovery remaining of Record in the Provincial Court of this Province of Maryland at Annapolis relation being thereunto had may more fully and at large appear It is Covenanted Granted Concluded and Agreed by and between the said parties to these presents and the the said Zachariah Wade doth hereby express and Declare and for him and his Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant and Agree to and with the said Enoch Magruder his Heirs and Assigns that at the Time of Suffering the said Recovery Touching and Concerning the Said Lands and Premisses whereof the said Recovery was Suffered always was and yet is that the said Recovery and other Acts and Assurances of and concerning the Said Lands and Premisses with the Appurtenances at any Time formerly Suffered executed or had wherein or whereunto the said Zachariah Wade are ^is^ any wise a party and all and every the executions of the same should and shall be and Enure and be construed adjudged deemed and taken to be and Enure to the only proper Use and Behoof of the said Enoch Magruder and of his Heirs and Assigns absolutely for ever and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In       Prince Georges County May the 10th 1760 Then Came Zachariah Wade before Us Two of his Lordships Justices of the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within Deed and the Lands and Premisses with the appurtenances within mentioned to be the Right of the within mentioned Enoch Magruder his Heirs and Assigns according to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such cases made and Provided And also at the same Time came Ann Wade the Wife of the Said Zachariah Wade who being privately examined out of the Hearing of her Husband did willing and freely acknowledge the within Deed and give up her Right of Dower of the Lands and Premisses with the Appurtenances within Mentioned and without being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usage by her husband or fear of his Displeasure

      We Thomas Hanson Marshall and Francis King arbitrators indifferently chosen between William Price of Charles County, Maryland and Zachariah Wade of PGCo to judge and settle a difference between them relative to the the issue of Negro Jane devised by the last will and testament of Zachariah Wade, deceased to his daughter and Wade since married to William Price and as to an agreement made by and between William Price and Mary Wade, widow of Zachariah Wade, deceased now likewise deceased.
      Know ye that we Thomas Hanson Marshall and Francis King having deliberately heard considered and understood the allegations of the parties do by these presents award the issue of Negro Jane, vizt; Dorah, Sarah, Cate, Harry, Charles and Andrew to be the right and property of William Price and Negro boy Jess, the issue of Negro Sis is the property of Zachariah Wade. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our's hands and seals this June 7, 1766, Thomas Hanson Marshall, Francis King in the presence of William Briddeson [sic Biddison], James Kirk
