      June 18, 1778. James Somerville of Fredksbg., atto. in fact for Hugh Lenox & Co. to Jno. Apperson of Spts. Co. Whereas, Isaac Bradburn, late of sd. Co., being seized of a tract whereon he lived in Spts. Co. 75 a. Mortgaged the same to the sd. Lenox & Co., May 7, 1773, and failing to pay the debt, for which the sd. land stood security, a decree was obtained, under which the sd. land was sold to Jno. Carthrae, but before conveyance was made the sd. Carthrae arranged for the sale of the sd. land to the sd. Apperson, the sd. Somerville conveys the land in consideration of the sums of £10 curr. and £37 10s. curr. No witnesses. June 18, 1778.
