      Ann Price's Will. Nov 2, 1778,
      I, Anne Price of CC, am sickly and weak but of sound and disposing mind and memory.
      To my son William Price - one third of two tracts of land called Arrowhead and Harrison, lying in Durham Parish and CC, near Nanjemoy Church, adjoining each other and containing by deed 159 acres, which sd 2 tracts I bought of Gerrard and Sarah Fowke and Violetta Hanson, as by their deed dated April 14, 1770. I also give my son William my house carpenter called Peter.
      To my son Zachariah Price - the rest of the two thirds of the afd tracts of land, reserving out of Harrison one acre for my two daughters Diana and Elizabeth, which they or the survivors of them are to hold and enjoy during their natural lives, provided they remain unmarried. I also give Zachariah my Negro house carpenter called Charles younger.
      To my daughter Mary Wade Ward - 16 shillings.
      After my just debts are paid and my funeral expenses paid the rest of any estate is to be divided as follows, viz four fifths I give equally between my four children, Diana, Elizabeth, William, and Zachariah, provided my son in law Mr. Henry Ward will renounce all accounts debts claims dues or demands that he may have against me in consequence of any dealings prior to this date. I give the other fifth part of the residue of my estate to his two children, Anne Price Ward and Benjamin Penson(?) Ward and do also relinquish all claims against sd Henry Ward for any dealings or bargains prior to this date; but if Mr. Ward does not comply herewith within 3 months from the time of his being made acquainted with this my will, then I give all ad residue of my estate to be equally divided between my four children, Diana, Elizabeth, William, and Zachariah. I want my son William to lay off for my two daughters the acre of land I have given them. I leave my two sons, William and Zachariah to be of full and lawful age, to transact all kinds of business of whatsoever nature.

      Disbursements went to Barnes & Ridgate per judgment against the deceased, Mar Court, 1774, proved; Rachel Furry; Messrs Knox and Balie; Gerrard Fowke; Igna Ryan; Patrick Hambleton; Jno Balie; Jno Cairia; Uziah Posey; Commissary Generals fees paid Colo William Fitzhugh. Balance to be disposed of according to the deceased's will - 53 £18 shillings 3 pence.

      We Thomas Hanson Marshall and Francis King arbitrators indifferently chosen between William Price of Charles County, Maryland and Zachariah Wade of PGCo to judge and settle a difference between them relative to the the issue of Negro Jane devised by the last will and testament of Zachariah Wade, deceased to his daughter and Wade since married to William Price and as to an agreement made by and between William Price and Mary Wade, widow of Zachariah Wade, deceased now likewise deceased.
      Know ye that we Thomas Hanson Marshall and Francis King having deliberately heard considered and understood the allegations of the parties do by these presents award the issue of Negro Jane, vizt; Dorah, Sarah, Cate, Harry, Charles and Andrew to be the right and property of William Price and Negro boy Jess, the issue of Negro Sis is the property of Zachariah Wade.       Whereas Zachariah Wade, deceased did by his last devise and bequeath to his daughters Ann Wade and Mary Ann Wade all that part of a tract called "Wades Adventure" lying near the head of Piscattaway Creek containing about 150 acres which I purchased of Robert Wade, Jr. to be equally divided between them. I hereby certify as deputy surveyor of the county that at the request of Mrs. Ann Price of Charles County, Maryland and Francis Gilbert and Mary Ann Gilbert his wife (Zachariah's daughters) have resurveyed "Wades Adventure" beginning at a red oak the second boundary of said land and bounded by "St. James" and made corrections to the lines and now laid out for 148 ¼ acres and by mutual agreement, Mrs. Ann Price to have the southernmost moiety and Mary Ann Gilbert to have the northward moiety, each part containing 74 ½ acres are resurved and divided this March 24, 1769 by John Frederick Augustus Priggs, deputy surveyor of PGCo (drawing of tract plat follows}
      Indenture made September 26, 1775; Ann Price in consideration of 95 pounds currency paid by Allen Bowie has sold her half part or moiety of "Wades Adventure" containing 74 ¼ acres willed by my father Zachariah Wade by will bearing date December 30, 1744.
