      24 Sept. 1734. William Beverley of Essex County, Gent., to Charles Dewitt of Spotsylvania County, cooper. Lease for the lives of Charles Dewitt, John Dewitt and Martin Dewitt his sons and the longest liver of them.
      One plantation called the Ordinary and 100 acres part of Stockwell in Parish of St. Mark ... saving always the liberty of making a path thro' the said land where it shall be necessary for and desired by one or more tennants of the said William. Yielding yearly on 26 November the Royal quit rents and also in 1739 the full quantity of 700 pounds of leaf tobacco at any convenient warehouse on the south side of Rappahannock River on 26 November and yearly afterwards 350 pounds or else once in two years 730 pounds. Charles shall within two years from 1 September last past plant an orchard of 64 apple trees and 100 peach trees, the apple trees to be planted 24 feet asunder from each other.
