      Westmoreland Co., Va. 27 July 1670. Jno.
      Washington, deputy escheator, commission 2 9ber [Nov.] 1669. Writ 25 Feb. 1670. Jury find that John Hewett was at the, tyme of his death possessed of above 100 acres in the County of Westmoreland formerly Northumberland butting easterly unto Potomack River, southerly upon the land of Jno. Earle, westerly and northerly upon the main woods and that Hewitt dyed without heire or will to bequeath his land, neither did dispose of any of the land, and therefore find the land to escheate.
