      KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we ANN HAILE, JONATHAN FISHER & RICHD. COVINGTON of ye County of Essex are held and firmly bound unto his Maties. Justices of ye Peace for ye sd. County in ye just sum of Twenty thousand pounds of good tobo: & cask, to the which payment, we bind ourselves our heirs firmly by these presents. Witness our hands & seales this 10th day of Janry: 1698.
      The Condicon of this obligacon is such that if the above bound ANN HAILE, Admrx. of her former Husband, JNO: CLARKE deced, do make a true and perfect Inventory of all ye goods chattles rights & credits of ye sd. deced. & ye same so made do exhibit to ye next Court held for the sd. County of Essex, & make oath thereto, & truely administer on ye sd Estate according to Law & give a just acct. of her admcon. when required; & pay unto such persons as ye Court shall appoint, then ye above obligacon to be void, otherwise to stand & remain in full force

      By one Mare, two cowes & calves, one feather bed, a flock bed & furniture, to a small chest, a. parcel of trayes & a sifter, two towells & pillow beer; a parcel of pewter, one rasor, fraying pain, smothing iron, one poU & hooks, a pair of deer skins, one old Gunn, one old saddle & parcell of lumber.

      - The difference between JNO: CLARK Plt. &THO: PARKER as Marrying FRANCILIA, Exx. of JOS: GOODRICH deced, Defendt. is referr'd till next Court
      - In ye difference depending between JNO: CLARKE Plt. & WM. GLOVER Defendt. ye Defendt. by JNO: EVERITT his Attorney comes & defends ye force &c. when &c. & pleads in abatemt: of ye Writt, that he was put into ye possession of Negroes, Cattle &c. by Mr. JOS: GOODRICH at his Plantacon in this County to improve manage & secure as an Overseer & Servant to ye sd GOODRICH, who being since deced, is by ye En. of the said GOODRICH & her present Husband continued in ye sd trust service & employmt. & that he knowes nothing of any Cow of ye Plt. upon ye sd Plantacon, but of ye aforesd. GOODRICHs against whose Executrix he humbly conceives ye Writt ought to be brought & therefore demands Judgmt. wch: plea this Court have over ruled, Whereupon ye Defendt. by his Attorney humbly prayes an imparlance &c. which is granted
