AN INVENTORY and Apprisement of the Estate of ROBT. JONES of this County of Rappa deceased as it was presented to us the subscribers by the Widdow May ye 17th 1684
Imprs. one pr white blanketts, old red Coverlet, one little pillow, one small looking glass, very good Couch, one old INDIAN Staff & 2 baskitts, one razor very old, one old Comb, 3 old knives & old lock, parcell old axes and hoes, one other good axe, one little brass kettle, old Rumlett, 2 glass bottles, pcell old lumber, a cask & sifter, three old payles & an old buckets; one old hammer & peices, one washing tubb; 5 old trays small butter pott & earthen pann, 6 small INDIAN panns, 3 old spoones, little wooden dish platter and skimmer, one Canvas bagg, 5 Tob: hhds., pcell flax undrest, the stock of Cattle belonging to ye Estate of ROBT. JONES amounted to 12175; three Cows the principle stock put in by me WILLIAM MOSS, And they to runn for the one halfe to the said ROBERT JONES, the number, age & vallue; one cow & calfe, fower Steers 3 yeares old, one Steer fower yeares old, two 2 yeare old Cattle, 3 yearlings Total 2880 the halfe 1440
This is the true Accot. of ROBERT JONES Estate as it was prsented by the said Widdow wch, was Inventories and apprised by us the Subscribrs. this day and date abovesaid In Obedience to an Ordr. of Court bearing date the 7th May 1684

TO ALL XPIAN PEOPLE to whome these prsents shall come, I ROBERT MOSS of ye Parrish of Sittingbourne in ye County of Rappa: in Virginia, Plantr:, send Greeting in our Lord God everlasting. Know yee that I the said ROBERT MOSS and REBECCA my Wife for the Naturall love and affection I have to my loving Brother, ROBERT JONES, together with divers other good causes have granted and made over unto my aforesaid Brother, ROBERT JONES, his heirs and assigns forever, one par cell of land contaying One hundred acres being on ye South side Rappahannock River in ye Parrish and County aforesaid; It being at ye upper end of a tract of land ye said ROBERT MOSS doth now live and adjoyneth upon ye land of NICHOLAS WILLARD and soe including ye quantity of One hundred acres of land together with all their appurtenances belonging To have and to hold with all rights belonging with all woods timbers trees to him ye said ROBERT JONES his heirs, Subject Nevertheless to the rents and services that shall henceforth become due to or: Soveraigne Lord the King his heirs and lastly wee the said ROBERT MOSS and REBECCA my Wife do further oblidge or:selves to acknowledge this Instrument in Court of Rappahannock when required and doe warrant ye said One hundred acres of land free from all manner of demands In Witness whereof I ye said ROBERT MOSS and REBECCA my Wife have set our hands and affixed or: seales this 20th day of January 1682

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I REBECCA MOSS do appointe my freind THOMAS NEW to be my true and lawfull Attorney for me to acknowledge a certain Deed of Sale made by my Husband, ROBERT MOSS, to JOHN MILLS JUNR, and alsoe a Deed of Gift made by my said Husband to my Brother, ROBERT JONES, both which deeds beare date with these prsents and what my said Attorney shall doe in any of ye prmisses I doe hereby allow to he as anthentique in ye Law as if I were thcrc myselfc in presence.
