Subject: Re: [MDPGEORG] Mary BEALL, daughter of Ninian BEALL--- HAMILTON and EVANS

Thank you for the additional information. Yes, Thomas EVANS is the son of Walter EVANS. Walter wrote his will in Prince George's County in 1730/1. According to Sharon, there are errors in the abstract of Walter's will in the MD Calendar of Wills. For the differences, see her listing here:
      http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/md/princegeorge/wills/evans-w.txt
The main difference is that the Walter named in the will is the son of Thomas and grandson of Walter (the testator) not the son of Walter.

In addition both Walter (age 79) and Thomas (age 52) gave depositions in 1726 regarding the boundaries of *Virgin's Garden* and *Forgot the Name.* (In a 1729 deposition Thomas was age 44). Thomas's son Walter (age 44) in 1764 in a deposition mentioned Thomas EVANS, son of Walter EVANS.
